After graduating from the People's Liberation Army Academy of Arts, Li Xing has won 6 international awards and more than 10 gold medals in domestic competitions, and his starring dance works "Shawan Past", "Tianlu", "Silk Road", "Mulan", "Qingyi", "One Skim and One Stroke" have been staged at Lincoln Art Center, Kennedy Art Center and other places. The inspiration of the dance theater "The Grand Hotel" comes from the big hotel where Li Xing performs and lives all year round, and the tourists who come and go in the big hotel. "In 2015, I was only at home for 23 days. As the tour travels north and south, I often wake up without knowing where I am, and I have to bring enough clothes for several seasons to tidy up my suitcase. Li Xing said: "You suddenly find that you are in the hotel more than at home, and the hotel is especially like a mobile home." He broke these life feelings, crushed them, and then regrouped them to get seven characters on the stage. The seven tenants staying at the hotel are seven pieces, but they spell out a complete small world. The stories of them happen all around us every day, and when the audience looks at the love and hate on the stage, they are actually looking at themselves.
Following "The Grand Hotel", The new work "Dream of the Red Chamber", created and starring By Li Xing, is about to premiere. He incarnated as Jia Baoyu and worked with the "Twelve Nobles of Jinling" to depict the dream world of "false and true when true and false" in dance language. Li Xing believes that after the age of 25, it is the mature period for actors to shape and enrich stage roles.
