Line R1 connects Xiong'an New Area with Beijing's main functional areas, and will achieve "one-hour" direct access to Beijing Financial Street and Lize Business District.
On November 23, the unveiling and launching ceremony of China Railway Industrial Cluster Landing in Xiong'an New Area was held. On November 25, the project of Xiong'an Xuanwu Hospital (investment part of the new area) was fully capped.

Xiong'an Urban Computing (Supercomputing Cloud) Center is known as the "brain", "eye" and "core" of the digital twin city in Xiong'an New Area, and is an important carrier of the digital twin city operation service system in Xiong'an New Area, and its edge computing, supercomputing, and cloud computing facilities will provide network, computing and storage services for the big data, blockchain, Internet of Things, AI, VR/AR for the entire digital twin city. After being put into use, it will provide Xiong'an with a steady stream of computing power.
"The Xiong'an Urban Computing (Supercomputing Cloud) Center will set up more than 3,600 server cabinets with up to millions of core vCPU computing power to meet the computing power needs of digital city construction in Xiong'an New Area in 2035." Yuan Xiaodong, chief technology officer of Xiongan Cloud Network Technology Co., Ltd., said.
In Xiong'an New Area, the start-up area has formed the "Shuanggu" ecological skeleton, major projects such as the International Trade Center and "One and Three Halls" have sprung up, the construction of industrial platform carriers such as the pilot base of the science and technology innovation center and the comprehensive insurance area in the Zhangang area has been accelerated, the modern urban areas of Rongdong, Rongxi and Xiongdong have been put into operation, and nearly 100,000 relocated people have moved back to their new homes.

Since the establishment of Xiong'an New Area, the overall bird resources of Baiyangdian have shown a trend of increasing species and quantity, especially the emergence of some rare and endangered birds, highlighting the improvement of the ecological environment of Baiyangdian Wetland and the enhancement of the diversity of bird communities.
Up to now, the number of wild birds in Baiyangdian has increased to 242, an increase of 36 species compared with before the establishment of Xiong'an New Area.

Up to now, a total of 469,000 mu of afforestation has been planted in Xiong'an New Area, with a forest area of 729,000 mu, and the forest coverage rate has increased from 11% to 34%.
