On October 11, Jimu News reporters learned from the police in Gong'an County that Jia Bin (pseudonym), a fugitive from a murder case who had been absconding for 32 years in fear of crime, was escorted back to the public security by the police from Quanzhou, Fujian Province.
One evening in April 1990, a vicious murder occurred in Mahaokou Town, Gong'an County, a man and Chen and Yuan and his wife caused a dispute over fishing nets, stabbed the couple with a knife and absconded to other places, the victim Chen mou died on the spot due to excessive blood loss, and Yuan was stabbed into serious injuries.
After the incident, the Public Security Bureau of Gong'an County quickly set up a special case team to carry out the investigation work. After investigation, it was found that Jia Bin was suspected of committing a major crime, and immediately launched a fugitive arrest work, because due to the investigation conditions and objective factors at that time, although after continuous efforts, the case has not made breakthrough progress, but the public security county police have not relaxed the pursuit of Jia.
"The police have carried out a comprehensive inspection of Jia Bin's social relations, and in response to his analysis and judgment, they have also formed a thick book of materials." The police of the special case group told the Jimu News reporter that although the members of the special case team changed batch after batch, the pursuit and escape of Jia Bin has never stopped.
In recent years, with the strong support of the Jingzhou Municipal Public Security Bureau, the criminal investigation brigade of the Gong'an County Public Security Bureau has actively carried out special operations to tackle the backlog of murder cases, and in response to the "1990 Murder of Chen Mou", the police have rushed to Shapingba in Chongqing, Guangzhou, Guangdong and other places to find effective clues for suspects involved in the case.
On September 30, the criminal investigation brigade of the Public Security County Public Security Bureau found through research and judgment that Zhang Mou of Hui'an County, Quanzhou, Fujian Province, and the identity of the fugitive Jia Bin was very similar, and due to the epidemic situation, it was impossible to go to the local area for verification at the first time, so the police informed the Hui'an police of the information that matched the characteristics and requested the local police to help verify.
After verification, it was found that Zhang Mou was Jia Bin, who the police in Gong'an County had been looking for. On October 5, with the strong cooperation of the Hui'an police, the police arrested the criminal suspect Jia Bin at a construction site in Luoyang Town, Hui'an County, and successfully escorted him back to the public security.
After interrogation, Jia Bin truthfully confessed the criminal facts of stabbing Chen to death with a triangular scraper due to a contradiction and dispute, and Yuan was seriously injured.
"At a construction site, I met a fellow worker, Zhang Mou, who was afraid that his identity would be exposed, and after the two became acquainted, they borrowed his identity to change their names and surnames, and lived a wandering life outside in fear." Jia Bin confessed that after the incident, he absconded to Zhejiang, Sichuan, Chongqing, Chengdu, Guizhou and other places, all of which made a living as a casual worker.
