In May 2022, Jieli Publishing House received the preface to author Liu Yong's new book "Fluorescent Window Whispers 2.0" (the current title is changed to "Life Convenience Store"). "It's been fifty years since I wrote my debut novel, Whispers in the Fluorescent Window, when I was twenty-three years old. In the first year after graduating from college, I wrote the first episode of "Fluorescent Whispers", and then one book a year, exactly at the age of thirty, and completed the seventh book. Its best-selling encouraged me to continue writing and eventually become a professional writer. Liu Yong recalled the origin of his creative career, and also invisibly revealed the significance of the new book to him: this work is his.
The first time "Life Convenience Store" was sent to the editors of Relay Publishing House was in April 2021, which is a completely different from the author's previous "style of conduct", and the manuscript presents a sometimes introverted, sometimes loving, sometimes fashionable, sometimes thoughtful Liu Yong, who condensed his rich life experience and what he saw and heard into an article of less than 300 words. Some of these articles are talking about neighbors, some are ridiculing the workplace, some are reminiscing about old friends, some are spitting on their sons, each article content is short and concise, the views are to the point, giving people the pleasure of reading new media content, Liu Yong humorously called it "inspiration strips".
This book is a collection of these "small pieces of inspiration", which are motivated by a habit of Liu Yong: sitting side by side with his wife on the sofa after lunch every day, chatting, brushing short videos, browsing new media, etc. Therefore, this book answers many hot questions that are just needed in life and cannot be bypassed, and readers can always help themselves.
For this new attempt, Liu Yong said that they are created anytime and anywhere, and even touched in the busy, written on a small note, and can often feel amazing when they are sorted out. These momentarily seized auras are condensed from decades of life precipitation, nearly 200 warm stories, covering nearly 200 hot topics and nearly 200 golden sentences.

What's so interesting about the new book?
Liu Yong said that the old writing is of course different from when he was young, because "the world is insightful", so it is more spicy and open-minded, and may also have a little irony and humor.
In the new book, he laughs about childhood and his original family, "When he was a child, his home was on fire, and he burned so much that the mandala in the yard was scorched." In the grass house, my mother was sewing clothes, and my cat was fighting with the dog at the door, and the cat always won, which made me very proud."

He bluntly sang the remarks of the 35-year-old youth, "In the era when only lived to the age of 45, 35 years old was a threshold, but modern people, living to 80 years old, 90 years old, there are many people, living to 100 years old is also heard from time to time, can you still say that 35 years old is a certain inflection point in life"?
In the new book, he also comforts the reader that you don't have to live as others want, you don't have to grow into a rose, make jasmine, make daisies, make sunflowers, make nameless flowers, do away from the grass, do thousands of things in the world.
