It was a famous massacre, one of the three major genocides, in which thousands of young girls were humiliated and thousands of ordinary people were reduced to experiments. So what happened to this massacre?

More than a hundred years ago, the Ottoman Turkish Empire was divided into two parts, one part armenia and the other part the Russian Empire. At the end of the 19th century, Greece and other countries, with the help of the Asian continent, rose up to fight for independence.

But Armenia did not choose independence, but faithfully sided with the Ottoman Empire. Sadly, Armenia's loyalty did not come in exchange for the kindness of the Ottoman Turks.

With the awakening of some intellectuals in Armenia, they proposed the establishment of a constitutional monarchy like Turkey through reforms.

But how could the Ottoman Empire agree to Armenian independence, so the Turks began to prevent Armenian independence as much as possible.

The Turks' approach not only kept the Armenians away from them, but also prompted the Armenians to begin to move closer to the Tsarist Empire.

This change directly angered the Ottoman Empire, who felt that the Armenians were deliberately provoking, which worsened relations between the two sides.

In 1914, after the Ottoman Empire joined the Allies, it went to war with Russia, but it ended in defeat. The Turks blamed the defeat on the Armenians, who believed that the Armenians had leaked military information and caused the defeat of the war.

It can also be said that the Ottoman Empire finally found an excuse to carry out massacres of Armenians. A massacre that exonerated humanity was orchestrated by the Turks into all sorts of small events.

In April 1915, the Turks made various demands on the Armenians in the name of conscription. The Armenians knew there must be a conspiracy in this, so they refused.

The Turks used this as a reason to begin the inhumane killing of the Armenians. They first looted the Armenians, then killed the populace and crucified them.

Between 1914 and 1917, they killed about 1.5 million Armenians. They first killed a large number of intellectuals and leaders, leaving the Armenian crowd leaderless.

Then, infuriatingly, they built concentration camps, and almost all Armenians captured in the concentration camps were killed.

The young and middle-aged people in the concentration camps would be drawn into the army to do hard and tiring work. Whenever the army was tired and bored, they would drive these young adults to the wasteland and torture them to death without water and food.

The treatment of Armenian girls was even more brutal, not only violating them in public, but also crucifying them naked.

They will take Armenians to the laboratory to inject some virus, observe the changes in the human body, and finally these Armenians will struggle in great pain until they die, even if they do not spare children.

The massacre had a huge impact on the international community, with more than 100 articles in the newspapers and periodicals in 1915 reporting on it.

The massacre was described as a "government-organized, approved, systematic killing stamp." Even the Allies spoke out that the Ottoman Empire was a new crime against humanity and civilization, and that those involved were responsible for the crimes committed.

Finally, as we all know, in World War I, the Allies won the final victory, and Turkey as an Allied power suffered a crushing defeat.

The Armenians thought they had finally waited for the Turkish executioners to punish them severely, hoping that the victorious Allies would bring the Turks to justice.

In January 1919, there was a massacre report accusing more than 130 suspects, most of whom could be said to be high-ranking officials of the Ottoman Empire. After trial by a military tribunal, these people were systematically and deliberately exterminated the Armenians.

Disappointingly, however, the end result was less than satisfactory, as most of the fugitives fled abroad and managed to escape punishment. Even in the end, the Armenians did not even receive a formal apology.

Could it be that this horrific massacre ended? If you have any views on this, you are welcome to express your views in the comments section.
