Hibiscus is a perennial upright herb, 1–2.5 m tall, with a stem covered with short, stellate soft hairs or nearly glabrous. The leaves are ovate to ovate lanceolate, the leaves are ovate to ovate lanceolate, the base is wedge-shaped to nearly round, the apex is caudal tapering, the edges are blunt and circular serrated, the upper part is nearly glabrous or finely hairy, the bottom is covered with gray-white felt, the flowers are solitary between the axils of the branches and leaves, the peduncle is 4-8 cm long, the flowers are large, white, reddish and red, etc., the base of the inner surface is dark red, the diameter is 10-14 cm, and the petals are inverted ovate.
