Warring Princes William and Harry will not join forces in public to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Diana's death

Warring brothers Prince William and Prince Harry reportedly will not join forces to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Diana's death — both publicly and privately.

The Duke of Cambridge, 40, and the Duke of Sussex, 37, have agreed to end the public commemoration and instead will join their families in honor of their mother. The couple has not spoken face-to-face since the unveiling of the statue of their late mother, Princess Diana, last summer.

They temporarily shelved the strained relationship to unveil the much-anticipated statue in her memory in the sunken gardens of her former home, Kensington Palace, in London.

In 2017, William and Harry built a memorial garden at Kensington Palace, took part in a documentary and lent objects to the exhibition to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Diana's death.

According to the Daily Telegraph, Wednesday will be the 25th anniversary of Diana's death, but the brothers will mourn this poignant moment privately.

But Prince Harry said this week: "I hope this day is filled with memories of her incredible work and the love she has done for the way she worked."

"I hope this day I can share my mom's spirit with my family, my children, and I hope they will see her." Every day, I want to make her proud.

Flowers are also expected to be laid in large quantities outside Kensington Palace.

The occasion comes as Harry and Meghan visit Britain next month — but without meeting William and Kate.

On September 5, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will travel from their home in California to Manchester for a Youth World Summit, where Meghan will deliver a keynote address.

The couple will then travel to Germany for an event to commemorate the Invictus Games in Düsseldorf on 6 September, before returning to the UK on 8 September for the WellChild Prize ceremony in London, where Prince Harry will speak.

It was the couple's first visit to the UK since the Jubilee celebrations in June, when they kept a low profile. They also visited in April, when they secretly met Charles and the Queen on their way to the Netherlands

Meanwhile, the Duke of Cambridge and his family will move from Kensington Palace to Adelaide Lodge later this month – just a 10-minute walk from Windsor Castle.

If the Sussex stay in their home, Frogmore Cottage is just a short 5-minute walk from the Cambridge couple and will be only 800m away when they move to Adelaide in the coming weeks.

This will be the first time the couple have become neighbours since Prince Harry and Meghan moved out of Kensington Palace in 2019.

But a source reportedly said the Sussex's visit would focus on "supporting several charities in their hearts" and that they had no plans to meet the Cambridge couple.

It was a French documentary claiming that Harry "slammed" Prince William's phone after being confronted with a witness statement portraying Megan Markle as a vicious bullying of female staff.

William, in turn—he didn't like his sister-in-law very much anymore—was so outraged by his brother's insistence on protecting his wife from criticism that he jumped in a car "to Kensington Palace" to confront the prince. Harry".

These explosive claims are included in documentaries by France's most popular television news outlets.

BFM TV showed the email in an investigative documentary series called "Red Line: Rival Brothers William and Harry" — as part of the Duchess of Sussex's privacy statement to the Post on Sunday.

It claimed traumatized staff resigned from the royal family and set up a WhatsApp group called the Sussex Survivors Club.

The documentary is scheduled to be released next week.

Diana died in a car accident in Paris on August 31, 1997, at the age of 36 – when William was 15 and Harry was 12.

While both sides understand the historical significance of the anniversary, and the fact that many people around the world are keen to commemorate the moment, it is a more personal milestone for them.

Friends say they still feel very sad because their mother has been away from them longer than their lives and she missed the birth of seeing her first grandchild.
