Spanish Tourism - Gaudí Architecture

Antonio Gaudi (Antonio Gaudi) was born in the small town of Reus, Catalan, Spain, a famous Spanish architect, Gaudí has designed many works in his life, and this trip to Spain checked in to see the Sagrada Familia, Casa Batlló, and Apartment Mira. Gaudí's designed buildings have 17 national monuments in Spain and 7 are listed as World Heritage Sites by UNESCO.

Fig. 1-4 shows the Sagrada Familia, a symbol of the city of Barcelona, attracting visitors from all over the world to visit Gaudí's great design, the architectural design can be seen as a relief carved Bible, the three facades of the church depicting the birth of Jesus, the crucifixion and the glory of God. Its entire church adopts natural caves, mountains, flowers and animals as design elements, making the façade of the building full of agility.

Fig. 5-8 shows the Casa Batlló, the building adheres to Gaudí's consistent design style, there are no straight lines and corners, all soft wavy shapes, curves. Gaudí's design is inspired by the folktale of St. George's slaying of the dragon and saving the princess, and the chimney and ventilation duct surfaces are collaged with broken porcelain mosaics, which are extremely psychedelic in the sun.

Fig. 9-12 shows The Mira Apartment, the last private residence designed by Gaudí, which now houses a mall and restaurant on the ground floor. Its building has three wavy walls, twisted and looping iron bars and iron plates to form curved balcony railings, each window is of different sizes, each wall is not flat, following Gaudí's consistent design style and philosophy.
