Disney's 100th anniversary campaign is in full swing, and the LEGO Group has recently released two new sets and a full gift set, and now has the first photo of the third set, which is dedicated to adult fans.
This is the first LEGO set featuring official Walt Disney, Dumbo and Bambi minifigures: the LEGO Disney 43230 Movie Camera pays homage to Walt Disney.
The LEGO Disney Movie Camera will be officially released on September 1, 2023, consisting of 811 pieces and retailing for €99.99.
The set is a replica of a vintage cinematic camera, the so-called Multiplane Camera, or Multiplane Camera, which was designed to inject the effect of depth of field and rhythm into a two-dimensional animation composed of original drawings, creating parallax, so that despite being a two-dimensional animation, it has a certain sense of three-dimensionality and realism.
This camera stands on a tripod, and two film rolls attached to the top make up the two zeros of the number 100.
At the moment, the official Chinese name of the set is unclear, and it is not certain whether stickers are included.

The set includes Walt Disney minifigures, as well as Minnie, Mickey, Bambi and Dumbo, standing on a display stand in the shape of a movie bezel, which also includes a superstructure with a multi-plane camera table. The three-story table showcases the details of the production of the 1937 Disney short film The Old Mill. With this, the effects of multi-plane cameras can be reproduced with LEGO models.

When the lens opens, you can see that there is a room inside where Walt Disney can sit and draw. There is also a 2×2 light panel with a Mickey Mouse portrait. In addition, a special, but also curious element from the point of view of Lego fans is included: a movie reel with stills from a total of 20 classic Disney movies.
A highlight of the LEGO Disney camera is, of course, the five characters in it, and in addition to the three minifigures, the two animal cartoon characters are particularly exciting because of the new parts used specifically for them:
- Walt Disney, first appearing as a minifigure, with brushes and drawing boards;
- black and white Mickey with printed trousers;
- black and white Minnie with skirt parts;
- Bambi is a new mold, dark orange, with delicate printing;
- Dumbo with big ears and a yellow hat.
Only Mickey and Minnie have already existed in black and white versions of LEGO IDEAS 21317 The steamboat Willie and LEGO Disney figures Season 2.
