At the end of the song, Li Shi was still unfinished, asking who the woman who played the piano was, and Wang Chengsheng truthfully told him that it was his sister Wang Zhu. Li Shi proposed to meet, and Wang Chengsheng hurried to ask his sister. However, due to her brother's affection, she still reluctantly came to the hall and met with Li Shi in a hurry.
Who would have thought that this side would actually make Li Shi never forget Wang Zhu's countenance again, and from then on he would not be able to eat and sleep restlessly. The Tang Yulin records that "Wang Chengsheng had a sister of national color, Dezong Nazhi, and did not love the palace room." ”
When the empress learned of the original commission, she sent an edict to the Wang family, asking Wang Zhu to be the crown princess. The whole family was happy to be able to climb the imperial relatives, but Wang Zhu refused to enter the palace, and said that he would rather be the wife of an ordinary person than an imperial concubine.
Helplessly, the emperor's order could not be violated, so Wang Zhu thought of a strategy to slow down the army, she said: "I am still young, and I do not understand the rules and etiquette of the palace, it is better to wait for the crown prince to take the throne, and then I will enter the palace." ”

After a few years, Li Shi married his wife Wang Shi, who was virtuous and open-minded, and the two were harmonious.
In 779, Li Shi ascended the throne as Emperor Dezong of Tang and Wang became empress. However, soon after, Empress Wang died of illness, and Emperor Dezong was sad and tearful all day long.
In order to alleviate Dezong's grief, a eunuch reminded him: Has the emperor forgotten the wang zhu? Dezong suddenly remembered the beauty who had once made his heart move. Because of the previous appointment, Wang Zhu had no choice but to enter the palace and come to Dezong's side.
Wang Zhu's arrival made Emperor Dezong immediately feel very good, and immediately crowned her as a noble concubine, with rich rewards, everything, alone, and accompanied her all day. Even to please her, a crystal building named after her was built.
But Wang Zhu, who longed for ease by nature, felt very depressed, her brows were locked all day, she didn't smile, and finally one day she couldn't hold back...
On that day, in order to celebrate the completion of the Crystal Building, Emperor Dezong led the ministers and harem concubines downstairs to hold a grand groundbreaking ceremony. The scene also invited several sets of drama teams, grand and lively.
Just when Dezong thought that Wang Zhu would be happy, he did not see her everywhere. After searching around, I finally found her in the upstairs room, only to see her sitting on the teeth of the bed, looking down and weeping.
Dezong looked at it, both distressed and puzzled, and asked busily, What is wrong with Aifei?
Who knows, Wang Zhu cried more and more sadly, and the tears were like beads with broken threads.
Dezong was horrified in his heart and wanted to go over and put his arms around her, but when he saw Wang Zhu swoop down on his knees, he cried and said:
"The emperor let me go, I know that my fate is thin, I am not blessed to be blessed with the grace of the Son of Heaven, and in the palace I am like a prisoner, I really can't stand these red tape." If the emperor really loves me, please let me go out of the palace and go home. ”
These words were like pouring a basin of cold water on Dezong, and Dezong, who was on his head, did not expect that the noble concubine would say this, he was very disappointed, and he felt wronged, and an inexplicable anger rose in his heart, and finally he went away in sorrow.
From then on, Emperor Dezong gradually alienated Wang Zhu, and coupled with the provocation of other concubines, Emperor Dezong became more and more indifferent to Wang Zhu.
Once, When Emperor Dezong met Wang Zhu on the road, he saw her wearing a shawl, wearing coarse cloth clothes, washing and watering with the palace ladies, and doing her own work.

Later, Wang Zhu became acquainted with the great talent Yuan Shihui, and the two had feelings for each other. In order to fulfill Emperor Dezong's agreement, Yuan Shihui took the initiative to resign from Zhongshu Sheren and marry Wang Zhu as an ordinary citizen. After marriage, the two came to the countryside and lived in seclusion, like a fairy lover.
