I, a post-80s girl, quit my job with a monthly salary of 20,000, traveled to 46 countries for 7 years, and traveled to make money

This is the story of the 658th real person we tell

I am Tang Sha @ Sugar Sugar Tour, post-80s, has traveled to 46 countries.

At the age of 27, in order to change my lifestyle, I chose to travel the world naked. In the past seven years, I have traveled to 46 countries with a Chinese passport, seen too many impossibilities, and experienced some things that are difficult to erase in my lifetime.

Someone said to me, "What do girls mean when they run outside every day?" "Traveling is to go from the place where you are tired of yourself to the place where others are tired." Travel brings us not only a visual experience, but also an inner satisfaction, and I have never regretted it. I will always be on the road.

In the 1980s, I was born in a small town in Xinjiang, and my family had an older brother. My parents are ordinary workers, although the family's economic conditions are average, but our family is very harmonious.

The parents were very simple and kind. Influenced by them, I became the same person as them. When I meet a stranger, my first reaction is to feel that the other person is kind and friendly, and from the heart to be kind to others.

My parents taught me to be independent and brave when I was young, but I was timid and introverted, but very well-behaved. My parents didn't ask me too much, and their biggest wish was to make me safe and happy.

In 1995, I went to elementary school. I remember once, because I couldn't do my homework, I was afraid to ask, I didn't finish, and then the teacher let me stand in the rain until school ended, and finally my mother picked me up. When I got home, I started to have a high fever and had been infused for several days. Since then, I've become more serious and sensible.

Although the parents' salary is not high, the work is very hard. Since the third grade of elementary school, every day when I came home from school, I used to cook my own food and wait for my parents to come back from work to eat. And they all wash their own clothes, and sometimes they have to help their parents wash.

Since junior high school, I have become a little more cheerful, and I can also play crazy in front of my friends. But when I go up to the podium to speak, or talk to a teacher, my voice usually trembles with nervousness.

In high school, although I was a representative of the English class, I still did not dare to speak on stage, and even when I conveyed the words of the teacher, I did not dare to say it in front of my classmates, but it was written on the blackboard for everyone to see.

Usually, I like to stay at home and make all kinds of handicrafts. Remember, the sleeves of the high school uniform were white, very easy to get dirty, so I found some leftover fabric and made some sleeves with a sewing machine for my classmates to wear.

At that time, everyone liked it very much. It was also at that time that I became interested in handicrafts. Later, when I went to college, I also embroidered a lot of cross stitch in my spare time to make gifts for friends.

After the college entrance examination, my mother suggested that I go to vocational college and study beauty and plastic surgery, and she thought that the major would be very profitable in the future. But I think going to higher vocational school is very faceless, after all, at that time, everyone would ask when they met: "Which school did you get into?" "It would be a great thing to be able to name the university.

Later, I was admitted to a university in Chongqing to major in e-commerce. Without hesitation, I got on the train and came to the city. But later, I regretted that if I had listened to my mother earlier, maybe it would have been a different life. Regardless of the youth, he will eventually have to pay for it himself.

Learning e-commerce, I don't like it much, I just think it will be a good trend.

In college, I wanted to be more cheerful, so I took the initiative to run for the student council and worked in it for a semester. During this time, my personality changed a lot and I made a lot of friends.

Because I had enough time, while studying this major, I also taught myself and completed all the courses of the second major, the administration major.

After graduating from college in 2011, I passed the fourth level of English and successfully got a bachelor's degree. In 2013, I got my second degree, a bachelor's degree in administration.

The reason why I studied administration, because I watched "Dulala Promotion" that year, I felt that if I could also achieve my goals step by step like the heroine, it would be a very cool thing. That's what I've always aspired to.

After graduation, I went to Xi'an and applied to Xi'an Fufeng Chamber of Commerce as an office administrative secretary. Because of my personality, I am still not good at dealing with strangers and cannot handle related business well. So two months later, I resigned.

Although the director of the unit was more optimistic about me, he always kept me and wanted to train me to be his successor. But I still refused his kindness and chose to leave.

After I resigned, I heard that sales were making money quickly, so I found a real estate company and worked in the sales department, selling shops and parking spaces.

After months of training, I slowly mastered the essentials and learned to cultivate customers. After that, I had my own order, and I also had a minimum income of twenty thousand per month.

After about 10 months here, I was sick, allergic to medication, and had a rash all over my body, and I couldn't go to work normally. And I wasn't in a good mental state either, so I quit my job again.

At the end of 2012, I returned to my hometown and found a job in a department store, responsible for the operation and management of the mall, that is, the supervisor. After the three-month probationary period, on the day of the regularization, I resigned because I couldn't stand the picky boss and the rude customers.

After that, I went to a real estate company and did sales. In the sales department of the whole company, I was the most educated, and many other salesmen had not even attended high school. Unable to stand the same life, a year later, I quit my job again.

During this time, another thing happened that also made me realize the dangers of the world. A colleague was very enthusiastic about me, and soon we became friends who said nothing. During the usual chat, I inadvertently revealed the idea of resigning.

He immediately turned around and made a small report with the leader. When I proposed my resignation to the leader, I never expected that my customers were colluded by the operation department and the personnel department, and quietly did someone else's name, and I originally had more than 10,000 yuan in salary, all of which were deducted from me.

I complained directly to the head of the office and the manager of the finance department, and they both offered to help me recover my salary. But at that time, the company's hierarchy was very serious, and the manager of the operation department warned them not to interfere in the affairs of the operation department.

Because I have little social experience, I don't know where to defend my rights. At that time, I signed a tripartite contract between the company and the labor dispatch department, but the company destroyed my contract and did not recognize that I had signed a legal labor contract with them.

In this way, I lost more than 10,000 yuan that I had worked so hard to earn. When one's efforts are not proportional to what one gains, when one is squeezed and abandoned, when one is betrayed, all the reluctance and resentment evolve into an ostrich protection model.

After that, I never looked for a job again. Every job before me was a ladder for me to grow, and it was all paving the way for my later life. Knowing that it is not easy to be a person, the heart is more understanding and tolerant of others. As Zhang Ailing said: "Because I understand, I am compassionate." ”

After resigning in 2014, I wanted to walk around and live a different way. As people often say, "The world is so big, I want to see it." ”

So I got my passport and started my overseas trip.

In 2015, I went abroad for the first time, and my first choice was Thailand. Because it has a developed tourism industry, cheap consumption, and is close to China, the diet is also very similar to China. And Thai mango rice is especially delicious.

When I arrived in Thailand, I first went to Bangkok, and then went north to see the ancient Siamese dynasty Ayutthaya, to feel the Thousand Years of Siamese Civilization. Later, I went to Chiang Mai, a must-visit for tourists, and rode a motorcycle to wander around the ancient city of Chiang Mai.

Then I went to Pattaya, known as the "Hawaiian" of the East, to feel the sun, the waves and the sand.

This tour inspired me to yearn for the beauty of nature. Next, I went to Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Namibia... Traveled through Asia, Europe and Africa.

I kept meeting, thinking, and updating my memories during my travels. Approach nature with a wandering spirit and enjoy the pleasure of merging with nature at a leisurely pace. Looking at the sunset in Africa, I remembered the phrase "floating clouds are wandering, and the sunset is a human feeling." "I felt a sense of solitude.

But long-term travel, without economic dominance, is also difficult. So, I thought of daigou. When I traveled to various countries, I found good souvenirs, sold them to China through the Internet, and earned labor costs, which was just enough for my budget travel expenses.

In this way, I sell goods while walking. So far, I've traveled almost 46 countries.

During my travels, I met many travelers like me. We visited a number of places together, and because of different preferences, we parted ways and went our own way. I also know some local Chinese, and seeing them is like seeing a loved one. Their enthusiasm also made me feel the warmth of my relatives.

in Angola Falls

Angola is arguably the most dangerous country. Here I met Sister Ye, who came to Angola more than 10 years ago to invest and do business here.

I heard that angola at that time was easy to make money, but the world was very chaotic, and there were many robbers. Just as her business was booming, a disaster struck.

The workers of her factory joined forces with the robbers outside and robbed them and ransacked the factory. Sister Ye is a woman, how can she withstand them! Finally, to save her life, she jumped from the second floor. The robber thought she was dead and went away with his fortune.

Although Ye Jie saved a life, the injury to her leg made it difficult for her to walk now. But she was indomitable, and later made a comeback, and now she has achieved a little success.

In Africa, there are too many such stories. Many of the entrepreneurs I meet are like this, they have experienced hardships that ordinary people can't imagine, and they have done their best to work hard to compete for a place in other countries. This is the perseverance of our people, and everywhere they go, there will be the spirit of the dragon.

In Afghanistan, I went to the market to buy something, and the boss asked me where I came from, and I told him I was from China. He said that China is a very friendly country and he wants to give me something. Finally, I repeatedly asked for it, and he reluctantly accepted the money.

In this way, during the trip, I have seen beautiful landscapes, received warm hospitality, encountered true friendships, received VIP-like courtesies, and harvested the beauty of love.

In 2017, in Armenia, I met a Korean boy with similar interests. He was also a travel enthusiast, handsome, well-read and fluent in English.

We traveled together in Nagorno-Karabakh, Armenian and Georgian countries, from hitchhiking, accommodation, eating to meeting new people, and experiencing big and small things together. Later, we parted ways because of different travel directions, and we have never been in contact again.

Although it is a little regrettable, it is also a scenery in my life. If he is nostalgic, he will naturally be with me in the red dust. Since he chose to leave, it was just a good memory of my trip.

In June 2017, I came to Iran. At that time, my partner and I felt that we were being followed, so we decided to take a ride back to the hotel, only to get into the car of their accomplice.

The driver drove us to the outskirts of the city into the mountains. We sensed something was wrong and told him to stop, but the driver not only didn't stop, but also slammed on the accelerator. We and the driver escalated from quarrels to fights, and in order to save ourselves, our partner opened the car door and jumped out of the car, and I jumped out of the car.

At this time, a car came from the rear, and at our request, we were allowed to get into the car and took us to the police station to report the police.

Later, I also reflected that when I go out, don't trust others easily, and don't take an irregular car to save a few dollars. Because we don't know if the other person is a good person or a bad person.

On June 28, 2018, I arrived in Namibia. This African tourist country, which most people think is relatively safe, has also had an accident.

It was winter in Namibia, the wind was biting, and I had to sleep in my socks at night. I stayed with four other friends in a youth hostel.

Two days before, I had a bad premonition. In addition, I braided African braids at that time, which was very uncomfortable, and after dismantling more than a hundred small braids overnight and losing a lot of hair, I felt unlucky.

Before going to bed, I was still worried about whether something would happen, and I didn't fall asleep until two o'clock. In my sleep, I suddenly heard the door being kicked open, and then the light came on, and when I opened my eyes, I saw a black man with a machete, pointing a knife at me.

My first reaction, we were robbed. I covered my head with the quilt in horror and screamed a few times.

When I put my head out, two more men came in, one with a gun and one with an iron rod. I sat up and habitually tried to grab my phone. However, the black man with the knife snatched my mobile phone and the charging treasure, and the gun snatched the mobile phone of his partner.

Mobile phones are so important to me, 90% of my photos are taken with my phone, travel diaries are also edited with mobile phone documents, and I have more than 50,000 or 60,000 words of manuscripts over a year, without any backups.

In a hurry, I offered to exchange money for a mobile phone. I took the initiative to open the bag behind me and take out all the cash. At this time, the robber came up to me and pointed a gun at me, asked me to give him the money, then looked through my bag again, found nothing else of value, and then turned to the partner next to him.

The robber who took my phone was still standing with a knife, looking at me, and I continued to beg him to return my phone. He took the phone out of his trouser pocket and looked at it, looked at me again, looked at the one with the iron rod next to him, and put the phone back in his pocket.

They told us not to make a sound as they began to loot our belongings. During this time, some partners were beaten by robbers in order to retrieve important things. We had 5 people in a room and lost items worth about 100,000 yuan.

After calling the police, we went to the police station to record a confession. Then, there was no more news.

After that, we went to various police stations, post offices and market shops every day to hand out flyers, and went to various advertising spaces and bus stops to post flyers in the hope of recovering lost items. But we often go out with hope and return with disappointment.

I have traveled alone in 17 countries in West Africa, through war-torn Mali, Nigeria, divided Cameroon, and kidnapping-ridden Angola, but fortunately I am safe.

The biggest realization of travel is to tell you that the world is different from what you imagined. Every country is a book, and you will only understand it if you really read it. Although I only read a few of them, it also added a thick label to my life experience.

After this robbery, I have always been terrified, and I no longer have the heart to travel, so I hurried back to China.

In 2019, I applied for a student visa to study in Korea and went to Korea to learn Korean. Learning Korean is something I've wanted to do for a long time, but I don't have the chance. At this time, someone told me that I could apply for a student visa, so I applied to study abroad.

In South Korea, everyone is very polite, and the security is also very good, and it is possible to let go of the vigilance in Africa. In the past three years, I have slowly integrated into their lives and feel that Korea is very good except for expensive things.

Until April this year, I started the first stop of the journey - Singapore, then Thailand, Pakistan...

Of all the countries traveled, India was more impressive.

With regard to India, most of the impressions of it are negative. In fact, although India is dirty and messy, the people are still very enthusiastic, simple and interesting. India is an ancient civilization with a profound cultural heritage, which is very worthy of in-depth understanding.

I think that the evaluation of a country is not only to look at a certain aspect on the surface, but also to communicate with the people, to understand their history, human customs and hospitality, and then to draw conclusions, rather than to generalize on points.

When traveling abroad, the motherland is my dependence and the source of my courage and strength. I'm very proud to see anything related to China abroad, or to be praised by locals. Especially Chinese passports, the gold content is getting higher and higher, a passport can go global.

Some people say that a girl always wants to marry, husband and godson, why go out and toss? I think that the more I experience, the more calmly I look at things, and even if I end up falling into cumbersome and washed away the lead, I will have a different state of mind when facing the same thing.

I don't know how far the road ahead is. But I only know that I want to try to live my wonderful self in a limited life. That is what everyone says: "Life is not only about the present moment, but also about poetry and far away." ”

If I can, I hope someone will share these with me.
