Digging up cordyceps is very physically demanding. It is difficult for a person to see it when standing, and it must be looked down and carefully observed. Most of the time, the elbows, thighs, and knees on one side of the body must touch the ground and crawl forward slowly to make it easier to spot cordyceps.
Experienced grass diggers earn an average of a few hundred yuan or even thousands of yuan per day to dig cordyceps. After two months, that is, the income of 50,000 or 60,000 yuan. Cordyceps is one of the main incomes of local herders.
Cordyceps sinensis, scarce and difficult to dig, it is no wonder that the price has been so high!
