Vietnamese forces display their domestically produced satellite communication vehicles, relying on imported U.S. satellites for communication: On July 4, the Vietnamese forces showed the VCD-3 satellite communication vehicles of the 604th Communications Brigade of the 2nd Military Region in a newly released photo. This communication vehicle is a product developed by the Vietnamese military electronics and telecommunications company, mainly used as a communication node to ensure the long-distance communication needs of troops above the brigade level. It is capable of connecting with radio stations and field cable phones, providing them with satellite relay communication services over ultra-long distances. At present, Vietnam has two communication satellites, Viet-1 and Viet-2, both developed and produced by the American Company of Lo Ma, and launched into orbit by the French Ariane Space Company in 2008 and 2012 respectively, which can provide communication services in the Ku and C bands. However, viet-1 will reach a 15-year mission life next year, and the successor star is currently unknown.
