Armando Segato

In the Italian midfield, Segato is known to Purple Lily fans for his precise left-foot passes and crosses. He played for the Purple Lily from 1952 to 1960, making 255 appearances and scoring 19 goals, including 231 in Serie A, scoring 16 goals. He was a member of the Serie A champions in 1955/56 and helped Fiorentina reach the Champions League final in 1956/57, losing 2-0 to Real Madrid. Made 20 appearances for the Italian national team and played in the 1954 World Cup. He was born in Vicenza, Italy, on 3 May 1930 and died in Florence on 19 February 1973 at the age of 42.

Claudio Merlo

Italian midfielder, who played for The Purple Lily from 1965 to 1976, made 337 appearances and scored 28 goals, including 257 in Serie A, scoring 19 goals. During this period, he won three trophies for the team, namely the Coppa Italia 1965/66, the 1966 Central European Cup and the 1968/69 Serie A. He made only one appearance for the Italian national team in 1969. He was born on July 7, 1946 in Rome, Italy.

Barty, the god of war, is the most scoring player in Serie A in the history of Fiorentina clubs, second only to Sweden's Ajaan Hamlin in the club's goal list, scoring 207 goals in 332 matches, including 152 in Serie A. From 1991 to 2000, he played for the Purple Lily for 9 seasons, during which he experienced the sadness of the team's relegation, and also tasted the joy of winning the Italian Cup and the Italian Super Cup, but regretted not being able to lead the team to win the Serie A title, in addition to the 1994/95 Serie A Golden Boot winner, after leaving Fiorentina in 2000 to complete the Serie A victory in Rome. He was born on February 1, 1969 in Avelaneda, Argentina.
