A few days ago, 36 Qinchuan cattle that passed the inspection and quarantine set off from Majiazhuang Village, Chengguan Town, Fengxiang, and arrived at the Hong Kong market through the Luohu Port in Shenzhen. This is the first batch of Qinchuan cattle supplied to Hong Kong by Baoji City in 2021.
Qinchuan cattle are tall and well-proportioned, with delicious meat, especially snowflake meat, which is the preferred beef cattle breed for the production of high-grade beef, ranking first among the five best breeds of cattle in China. The first batch of Qinchuan cattle supplied to Hong Kong in Baoji City this year came from Fengxiang County Yongsheng Breeding Co., Ltd. The company has supplied Qinchuan cattle to Hong Kong for 19 consecutive years, with about 500 heads per year, worth more than 10 million yuan.
It is understood that in order to ensure the efficient supply of live cattle by enterprises, Baoji Customs sent special personnel to the scene for inspection at the first time after receiving the declaration information of the enterprise, checked the number and ear number of the batch of live cattle one by one, carefully verified the purchase source, fattening period, immunization injection and feed medication of 36 Qinchuan cattle, and guided the enterprise to do a good job in isolation and quarantine before the appearance, disinfection of cattle barns and transport vehicles, personal protection and other work, to ensure that the live cattle are qualified for quarantine and safe transportation.
