Earth is a young life planet, so far evolved more than 4 billion years, in 600 million years ago, after the emergence of the first multicellular organisms on the earth, the earth opened a colorful stage of life evolution, with the evolution of the earth, changes in geology and environmental climate has been dominating the evolution of life on the earth, so far, there have been 5 major biological changes on the earth, each time there are more than 70% of the old species extinction, and new species are further evolved. All of this follows the laws of nature, and when we lament the magic and unpredictability of nature, we have to marvel at the dominance of nature on life on earth, but in today's earth, with the advanced evolution of a creature, they transcend nature to become the new masters of the earth.

They are human beings, human beings were only born more than 200,000 years, compared to the earth's long life record, this seems to be a stroke of the finger, according to the normal evolutionary process of the earth, since the end of the last biological change to now only more than 60 million years, this time the evolution of species should be in the early stage, that is to say, this time period on the earth should be the recovery of all things, hundreds of boats, all kinds of wild animals have evolved to a higher level of the stage, the earth should be a thriving scene. However, what the earth did not expect was that the emergence of humans changed the course of this stage, the earth was lined with tall buildings, reinforced concrete replaced the forest and grassland, and humans everywhere led to the extinction of other wild animals. According to the current state of life on Earth, this is not early in the evolutionary period of the new Earth, but more like a precursor to the arrival of the sixth mass extinction.
Five mass extinction processes
According to the detailed statistics of the World Red Book, among the extinct animals recorded in the world in the 20th century, there were 110 species and subspecies of mammals, and 139 species and subspecies of birds. However, the extinction of species has not improved in the new century, but the situation has become worse, as the latest statistics so far show that the world has 593 species of birds, more than 400 species of beasts, 209 species of amphibians and more than 20,000 species of higher plants are close to extinction.
After the Industrial Revolution, species have accelerated extinction at a rate of 1,000 times more than normal, which has led some scientists to put forward the idea of the sixth species extinction, Dr. Jiang Zhigang, chief researcher of the Institute of Zoology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and executive deputy director of the China Science Committee on Endangered Species, said that "since the beginning of the industrial revolution, the earth has entered the sixth mass extinction period."
There are many extinct species on earth, and today we will select eight animals that have left their last image records.
First, the smallest tiger in the world, the Balinese tiger.
Bali Tiger
Bali tiger is the world's smallest tiger, tiger originated in China's present-day Gansu Province Longdan area, so the early tiger is called Longdan tiger, Longdan tiger evolved from the ancient Chinese cat, so far only more than 2 million years, Bali tiger belongs to the descendants of Longdan tiger, first migrated from the southwest passage to Southeast Asia. At a later time, due to the decrease in sea level, more small islands appeared between the Southeast Asian islands and the mainland, connecting into a land bridge, and tigers gradually migrated along the island chain to areas such as Malaysia. Subsequently, rising sea levels isolated the islands, causing tigers to evolve different populations.
Due to the hot climate in Malaysia and other regions, resulting in the gradual reduction of the size of the tiger, becoming the smallest tiger on the earth, Bali is small in size, with the increase in population, the intensification of human-tiger conflicts, coupled with the needs of economic development, Bali has promoted the planting of rubber trees in a large area, thus destroying a lot of forests, resulting in the loss of Balinese tiger habitat. In 1937, the Balinese tiger became extinct. This photo is of the last Balinese tiger to be captured. It is also the last photographic record left by the Balinese tiger.
Second, the North African antelope.
North African chrysalis
North Africa is an extremely rich area of African wildlife, but also the most extinct area of African wildlife, there are many famous wild animals in North Africa, such as black lions, spotted donkeys, northern white rhinos, etc., they are very different from wild animals in other parts of Africa, have high research value, but unfortunately, North Africa is also the earliest colonized area, more than a hundred years of colonial period to north Africa wildlife brought great disasters, countless animals were extinct for a variety of ridiculous reasons.
North African chyme antelope is one of them, because of its peculiar appearance, very popular with European colonists, they were hunted in large numbers, while some were sent to zoos across Europe for people to visit, due to poor transportation conditions, the vast majority of animals died on the road, this photo is the last North African chyrobial antelope taken in a French zoo.
Third, The Thai Zelu.
Thai Zelu
Thailand is a densely forested country that was once highly forested and has long been an area rich in wildlife. After the Industrial Revolution, Thailand's economy developed rapidly, the population grew rapidly, while tourism became the main pillar industry, the rapid development of agriculture and tourism, so that people asked for more land from nature, some swampy wetlands were also occupied, which led to the loss of many wildlife habitats. Thai Zelu deer, a deer that lived in swampy areas, soon became extinct because they had nowhere to go, and in 1938 someone took a picture of the last Thai Zelu deer.
Fourth, Atitlan.
Atitlan
In Guatemala's Atitlan there is a unique bird, they only live in Lake Atitlan, due to the development of tourism, this lake has been developed into a tourist area, the beautiful environment attracts a lot of tourists to come, while bringing cats, dogs and other pets, some abandoned cats and dogs, has become the top predator of Lake Atitlan. Atitlanites tend to nest in the grass on the shore, which is a food at the fingertips of cats. In 1990, people took pictures of the last Atitlan.
Fifth, the spotted donkey that is extinct for absurd reasons.
Spotted donkey
Spotted donkey is a unique wild animal in southern Africa, its head resembles a zebra, but the tail resembles a donkey, so it is also called a zebra donkey, the zebra donkey was originally considered an independent species, and later through research, it was found that the zebra is actually a branch of the zebra, but the stripes on the back half of the body are not obvious. But it was this unique appearance that brought ruin to the donkey, and the early colonists who landed in Africa believed that the donkey was an evil animal and hunted in large numbers. In fact, in the eyes of the locals, the spotted donkey is a docile wild animal that can even be domesticated as livestock and has long been the main means of transport for some of South Africa's residents.
However, as the colonists hunted, these spotted donkeys soon disappeared in the wild, and in 1883, the last spotted donkey died in the zoo, which is a photograph of the last spotted donkey.
Sixth, the last marsupial carnivore, the thylacine.
thylacine
Thylacine is one of the few carnivorous marsupials on the Australian continent, its fate is also very bad, tens of thousands of years ago, Australia has ancient monitor lizards, thylacines and other beasts, thylacines have always been in the middle of the food chain, 40,000 years ago to 7,000 years ago, ancient monitor lizards, thymes and other large carnivores have gone extinct. Domestic dogs from Southeast Asia were brought to Australia by stray fishing boats at the time, and have since evolved into Australian wild dogs, which are derived from gray wolves, are united and adaptable, and once again expel thylacines, forcing thylacines to live only on some surrounding islands.
During the colonial period, Europeans opened up pastures and estates in Australia, and thylacines were believed to be stealing livestock and hunted in large quantities, in fact, all of which were done by Australian wild dogs. In 1936, the last Dingo died at the local zoo, and this photograph is of the last thylacine found in the wild.
Seventh, Caucasian bison.
wisent
Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas were once all areas rich in large wild animals, but with the rapid development of the European industrial economy after the Renaissance, colonial ideas led to the hunting of wild animals in Europe, and some large wild animals were extinct. European bison is also one of them, such as the Irish giant deer, the European wild horse, etc., in 1927, the original bison that spread throughout Europe only survived in the Caucasus, but it was soon hunted out. This is a photograph of the last European bison that was captured.
Eighth, the Syrian wild donkey
Syrian wild donkey
In the northeast plateau of Syria, the environment is harsh, the climate is dry, there are few wild animals living here, and large wild animals are even rarer, but the Syrian wild donkey has been living on this plateau because of its hardiness and other characteristics, and the locals will also domesticate some wild donkeys as a means of transport.
During the colonial period, Syria became a colony of France, France in the process of occupying Syria, a large number of hunting wild donkeys for food, because the Syrian wild donkeys are social, in order to hunt more efficiently, France even used artillery to bombard the donkeys, under the blow of modern firepower, the Syrian wild donkeys became extinct in 1928. This photograph is the last Syrian wild donkey photographed by the French to survive artillery fire.
The extinction of these eight animals, each of which is closely related to humans, now we can only look at the photos to know their existence, the protection of wild animals, is everyone's obligation.
