China Southern airlines plans to cancel the order for 100 Boeing 737 MAX, saying it welcomes the 737 but does not welcome the MAX.

On October 29, 2018, a Boeing 737 MAX plane that had only been in its hands for three months crashed, killing all 188 people on board.

On March 10, 2019, an Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 737 MAX8 airliner numbered ET 302 on its way to Kenya crashed six minutes after takeoff. The Boeing plane, which was reportedly brand new and was delivered to the airline only four months ago, was killed by 149 passengers and eight crew members on board.

This is the second accident in less than half a year, the new model of Boeing 737MAX airliner.
