Today in the Eastern Conference semifinals of the NBA's 2021-2022 playoffs, Ju Holliday completed blocks and steals in 8.1 seconds before the end of the game to help the Milwaukee Bucks beat the Boston Celtics 110-107 and take a 3-2 lead.
Boston trailed 28-26 in the first quarter and led for most of the game and entered the fourth quarter with a nine-point advantage. However, in the final minutes of the game, Alphabet Brother and Holliday each hit a three-pointer, and the Bucks quickly rebounded, closing the score gap with 42.4 seconds left in the game.
Bobby Portis made up for Antetokounmpo's free throw with 15 seconds left in the game, and Holliday blocked Marcus Smart's layup in the Celtics' final two games and snatched the ball from him again, locking in a reversal victory that left them with just one win left in the Eastern Conference Finals.
Antetokounmpo had 40 points and 11 rebounds on 16-of-27 shooting, while Holliday had 24 points, eight rebounds and eight assists. Portis scored 14 points and 15 rebounds.
Tatum scored a Celtic-high 34 points, six rebounds and four assists, and Jaylen Brown scored 26 points.
Separately, in game 5 of the Western Conference semifinals, the Memphis Grizzlies beat the Golden State Warriors 134-95 by 39 points to make the series 3-2.
The Grizzlies' star player Jay Morant, despite missing out with an injury, started strongly and did not fall behind, scoring 77 points in the first half, the most points in the team's playoff history. With a maximum lead of 55 points in the third quarter, the game started with garbage time.
Jalan Jackson Jr., Desmond Bain and Tyus Jones each contributed 21 points for the Grizzlies, and Klay Thompson contributed 19 points for the Warriors.
