Hello everyone, I am the second lady who lives in Bangkok.
Since the Thai durian season that began at the end of March, haven't I sent many durian videos? (Headline fan friends can go to see the video of my homepage)
Scenes of collective drooling in the comments section are no surprise. A large number of friends are looking forward to it, hoping that the epidemic will pass quickly, so that they can collectively kill and eat enough in Thailand.
Then I thought of a question about coming to Thailand to eat durian.
Didn't I keep running to the durian orchards and factories in Chanthaburi this year?
The more times I came, the more I discovered that Chanthaburi could actually develop a tourism project with the theme of eating durian!
As soon as the season comes, along with a large number of durian fresh fruits on the market, the roadside fruit stalls everywhere have begun to do business.
The fruit is fresh and cheap, and the point is that you can also buy a lot of small varieties of durian at the roadside stalls here!
They are all varieties that are more difficult to buy in other cities in Thailand.
On the one hand, it fulfills your dream of wanting to come to the production area to eat durian, and on the other hand, it drives the tourism economy of the ancient city of Chanthaburi, is it not a two-way street?
Of course, this is just my wishful thinking, I can't do it at the moment, and I don't have the energy to develop a Rausch sub-tourism project.
The only thing you can do is to send this article to tell everyone: want to eat durian for the least amount of money?
Come to Chanthaburi! Spend 100 yuan on the roadside stall, and the original, fresh fruit durian that has just fallen off the tree can be eaten very comfortably.
Although it is a roadside fruit stall, it is also a clear price, there is no tourist in the small place, there is almost no case of ripping off customers.
The golden pillow that has just come off the tree is 150 baht/kg (2 kg), equivalent to 15 yuan/kg.
This all has a lot of expensive words, and I can only reply: don't give you money to eat the cheapest! After all, roadside stall owners also have costs, and they also have to earn money to make a living.
At the roadside stalls in Chanthaburi, you can easily buy "small varieties of durian" that are rarely seen elsewhere in Thailand.
For example, the glutinous rice fin in the figure below, this variety originally has a small yield, mostly for export. Just on the side of the road in Chanthaburi, vegetable markets and supermarkets in other parts of Thailand are really rare.
I wanted to buy a sticky sticky and eat it immediately, but the boss said that it would take a few days to cook.
There is also a mini Tomani sent back to China a while ago, which is also 150 baht / kg (2 kg), equivalent to 15 yuan / kg.
Qingni, methyln, gold pillow..., these conventional varieties are not to mention, there are!
The thai price is all kilograms (1000 grams, 2 pounds), and I have repeatedly emphasized this because every time there are friends who can't figure out the difference between "kilograms" and "pounds".
Thai people test is a special stick knocking, the technical content is not high, but the average person does not have a few years of experience accumulation is indeed unable to learn.
It's just that most of the fruits in the roadside stalls are C and D grade fruits, the fruit shape is not very good, and the meat yield is not as high as the A and B grade fruits.
A methylron ↓ that doesn't look round enough
And a bunch of durians that look like pumpkins and seem to be methyln, and somehow they think it's a little cute.
But the taste is most likely not much impact, or fresh and delicious. Eating in the place of origin also saves expensive transportation costs, and the price is of course much cheaper.
Picking and choosing, I finally bought 3 mini Tomani, let the boss pick some cooked ones, and eat them now.
Mini Tomani is a little bigger than a slap, and the normal Tomani breed is probably two big.
Watching the Thai fruit stall owner open durian is very healing, using only a fruit knife, durian obediently flipped in the hand. Opening durian is as easy as cutting an apple.
Think about my own knife and axe at home, and I have to exert the strength to suckle (individual varieties). It is not that the knife is not fast enough, nor is it that the strength is small, and the pure technology is not in place.
My 3 mini Tomani, each fruit only opens 3 rooms of meat.
After all, I bought 3 of them, or filled a lunch box full of them, and I don't want to eat this box for dinner.
I sent a mini Tomani back to China, and at most a client friend opened 6 rooms of meat. Doesn't this reflect the difference between grade A fruit and CD grade fruit?
You can buy it and sit on the side of the road to eat, and then open a pack to take away after eating. During the epidemic, let's go back to the car and eat again!
The qingni bought by others, I was hungry, and I stood by and patted the fruit for you to see.
Learn how to prescribe a complete durian pulp (not) without injury.
Oops, this green nib's flesh is so full, look how fresh!
Thais use this translucent oil paper to wrap durian to prevent the flesh from sticking, and it is also convenient to take without sticking to the hand when eating.
Back in the car, eat this box of mini Tomani and go again.
3 mini Tomani settled for more than 500 baht, this large lunch box is equivalent to more than 100 yuan. After all, it is a small variety, or it is cheap.
If you eat pure and cost-effective, then buy regular varieties such as gold pillows and methyllun.
Smell it, Enmmmmmm~, is the familiar Thai Musang King Tomani's head aroma.
Take a bite! Sweet enough to want to call Mom! But the flesh didn't taste as much as I expected, and the stickiness was a little worse.
If you leave it for a day and then bear fruit, the taste is more perfect. But most Thais like to eat this raw, depending on personal preference.
Tomani's only downside is that the core is too large. Small varieties well, eat is not cost-effective, flavor first.
Wait until next year's durian season, I believe everyone can already come to Thailand to play?
When it's time to come to Chanthaburi to live for a few days, visit the ancient city, eat the rice noodles recommended by Miss Er, and then change the pattern every day to eat different varieties of durian, isn't it beautiful?
Then today I am waiting for you in Thailand.
Next week share Edamame is about to go to school at the Thai International School, interested friends click a concern, bye ~
