According to reports, the new SRG-X40UH and SRG-H40UH cameras both use 4K Exmor RCMOS sensors, providing 4K /HD images, with powerful zoom and wide-angle capabilities, and equipped with UVC and HDMI interfaces, which are scheduled to be available in September 2022.

According to Sony, the SRG-X40UH and SRG-H40UH deliver excellent detail and high-quality images, natural color reproduction and high sensitivity, enabling sharp faces or other relevant details to be captured even in low-light environments when communicating remotely. In addition, even with hd formats, 4K supersampling provides excellent image quality. Sharp Zoom technology enables 40x HD zoom, 30x 4K zoom, approximately 70-degree wide-angle shooting capability, simple UVC and HDMI interfaces, and PoE+ support.
