Genshin Impact developer HoYoverse, who manages all of Mihayou's global operations outside of China, has previewed its upcoming game, Zenless Zone Zero.
The game's website is now live, showing a digital clock sitting on a retro TV. Meanwhile, on one side, there is a calendar that is displayed until May 13. What's more interesting (and even stranger) is that the turntables on the TV can actually be turned by tapping on them, and when doing so, one of the two videos will start playing.
The first video is mostly static, with some blurry and unstable footage. Throughout the process, an unknown person talked a lot about the "end times" and pointed out, "In short, we are being born again ... And you're part of it. Apparently, fans can't guess the specifics from these words.
The second video gives us more information, at least more to watch. In this video, we see a clear picture of the news broadcast, and a news anchor reports that "about 30 minutes ago, a sub-void suddenly appeared on August Avenue in the Janis block." She went on to say that "a secondary control zone has been established and residents are currently being evacuated".
Very mysterious is for sure.
More answers are expected on Friday, and there is only further attention to "Absolute Zero"
Last November, miHoYo revealed that it would open its first North American office in Montreal. Here, the company offers some hints at its new game, calling it "an AAA open-world action-adventure game, a game featuring shooting in a living supernatural world."
