Warcraft Blue Sticker: Blizzard responds to the details of a professional revision in the Age of Dragons

Hello everyone

Sorry for taking so long to start replying to this post. We've been busy building professional systems and what we've been talking about. I will try to solve this problem slowly, and will update more details and issues here if I have time.

Professionally-related work is active and your responses and feedback are very helpful, so please continue to provide more ideas.

Regarding my first response, I wanted to address some confusion about how to improve my professionalism and thus make/collect higher quality items. You can't get a more advanced recipe directly by making a recipe multiple times like shadow country orange suits. It's an interesting system, but ultimately requires a lot of gold investment and is repeatable. This means that only players with large amounts of gold coins can easily participate in it, which also results in the cost of the orange suit being very high in many cases.

For pro revamps, there are many different ways to improve your pro (I'll discuss these shortly) to craft/collect higher quality items. Our goal is to make professional improvements through convincing and fun activities, rather than spending a lot of gold coins. Of course, gold coins will still have a place. For example, you may still want to buy materials or order advanced manufacturing equipment, but it shouldn't be the reason you enter your chosen profession and get huge success.

Absolutely, we plan to make the equipment we manufacture competitive with high-end gear from other sources, and in some cases even BiS. One of the most important goals of the manufacturing order system is to make the equipment manufactured more relevant to the game – in all activities. Remember, in order for you to craft powerful equipment yourself, you need to go out and earn special (soul binding) materials for the maker so that your favorite items can be crafted.

I don't want to go into much detail about the Dragon Age system yet, but the intent is not to be offensive when it comes to trying to get equipment that is appropriate for your activity.

That is, if you are a Normal Difficulty Group Player, your Normal Difficulty Groupbook provides enough material to allow you to craft a limited amount of equipment that is about the normal difficulty Group-based item level without having to do a bunch of other things. However, if you want to make equipment for the Hero Difficulty Group level as a normal difficulty group player, you can choose to do other activities such as the Great Secret Realm, PvP, or challenging outdoor activities to replenish the materials you need to get better equipment faster.

Overall, we want to make equipment that makes you feel like you're getting it at a satisfactory pace with your other sources of equipment. If you're unlucky and don't drop during the regimental period, you'll still be heading towards some high-end crafting gear... If you're too black to get dropped legs anyway, you can choose to craft legs to upgrade that special gear slot.

For some crafted equipment, you may also need to look for special rare drops on one of the mobs in the world, or in dungeons or regimental books. Getting made gear should feel like a reward, an adventure, and a social experience.

We are considering the problem of difficulty in obtaining materials in the manufacturing order system that may be encountered in ghost suits.

Our production plan will definitely take into account the world PvP, including interesting recipes and collecting materials, but we're not ready to discuss it in detail!

I want to talk about one thing that we haven't mentioned yet, which is the concept of remake. It's still a work in progress, so there may be some changes, but the basic idea is as follows:

If you're a maker, remakes will allow you to place any piece of equipment made in the Age of Dragons directly into the crafting interface. You can then spend a special material, plus a small portion of the original material in the recipe, to "remake the item".

During this process you can completely replace optional materials as needed, and the new quality of the item will be determined based on the new material settings as well as the current skill level. This means that you can craft low-quality items and then re-craft them when you have higher skills to achieve higher quality.

For non-manufacturers, we also plan to support remastered orders. In this case, you can send your item to be remade to change its optional materials, or potentially improve its quality.

All of this should help players feel comfortable making high-end items early on, as it may not be of the highest quality, but they know they can always remake later to make it even better.

We strongly believe that being able to adjust the properties of a crafted rig is valuable – customization is one of the coolest aspects of manufacturing.

As for remaking to change these properties, the intent is to continue to do something similar through optional materials, so in such cases, yes, you can use remakes to change these optional materials, thereby changing secondary properties.

The remake system described is only for specific crafted equipment.

A remake system should not be considered an upgrade system. It's just a way to recreate something that has been made in the past with a change in optional materials and possibly different qualities. So, use your numbers to give a more specific example:

A crafted recipe may make a helmet between item levels 325 and 335, depending on the quality. It may require 100 dragon scales as its main material.

A maker with a high skill level may be able to craft it directly at Quality 5 Item Level 335, while a new Maker may only be able to craft it at Quality 1 or Item Level 325. In both cases, the cost of the material is the same.

The equipment in your hand is crafted by a maker with low skill points at quality 1/item level 325. Maybe he's your friend and he says, hey, Letholas, I've been working on my forges and now I can make quality 5 gear! You can send me the remake order and I'll help you. You do.

Your friend then recreates your helmet from an old helmet, 20 dragon scales, and a special material he's earned. The result is that its current quality is 5 items and the level is 335.

Hopefully, this helps illustrate the point.
