Some users have reported that the MacBook Pro 16-inch custom configuration order ordered in February has been delayed, and Apple said that their devices will not be shipped until the end of June or the beginning of July.

According to others, the issue affected the MacBook Pro's 14-inch and 16-inch shipping times. Last month, Apple appeared to have been releasing updates to customers about the delay.

It's not just the new MacBook Pro that's been delayed in a custom version, but even stock models of both screen sizes show shipments between June 27 and July 12.

Although Apple CEO Tim Cook recently said that supply chain constraints were lower than the company expected in the previous quarter, it still expects to lose $4-8 billion this quarter due to supply constraints.

But with shipments of flagship MacBook Pro models delayed by eight weeks or more, Apple's Mac Studio shipments are completed ahead of schedule. One customer said the new desktop arrived 30 days earlier than expected.

It could be that the mini LED panel is causing delays on new MacBook Pro laptops. Other models, such as the MacBook Air and 13-inch MacBook Pro that don't use mini LEDs, have no delays. And in late March, we saw a report that Apple was working to increase its supply of mini LED panels by 20 to 30 percent.

All of this is due to strong demand for the mini LED MacBook Pro laptop. A recent study found that in the 2021 holiday quarter, the MacBook Pro sold more 14-inch and 16-inch than all OLED laptops combined.
