As an important position of the new cultural movement, "New Youth" witnessed the vigorous development of the new cultural movement before and after May Fourth and the process of Marxism began to spread widely in China, and played an important role in the history of the founding of the party. The former site of the editorial office of New Youth (Chen Duxiu's former residence) is one of the main fronts of the new cultural movement and an important place for the spread of Marxism in early China. In recent years, on the basis of vigorously protecting red cultural relics, the Dongcheng District Committee of Beijing Municipality has continuously introduced new ideas and told the story of red history.
In the activities of the day, Long Pingping, screenwriter of "The Age of Awakening", Ni Changwen, a youth representative of the Information And Communication Bureau of the Central Liaison Department, Li Yang, a national five-good docent of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and Lang Jiaziyu, the third-generation inheritor of the National Intangible Cultural Heritage Beijing "Face Man Lang", were guests in the live broadcast room to share the red story and the experience of the struggle of front-line posts.
