In the early hours of this morning, Blizzard released its latest blue post, which made an official explanation for some changes to the S3 season of the Arena.

With The Burning Expedition Retro Suit Season 3 coming to an end this week, we decided to make some adjustments to improve players' ability to purchase PvP gear.
After the end of Season 3, the discount on Season 3 equipment will be increased to 60% (previously 50%).
Developer Note: This should allow players who reach the 5,000 Arena Points limit to purchase their suits and two-handed weapons, or their suits and master and side items.
T6 Set parts can now be redeemed for Season 3 equipment.
Arena Points calculations have been updated to reduce the difference in the number of Arena Points earned each week between different Arena tiers.
Developer Note: All Arena players should see an increase in Arena Points earned, while those with lower ratings should see a more significant increase.
These changes will occur during the maintenance period and will affect the final settlement of Season 3, which took place this week (May 3 for U.S. Service and May 4 for National Service according to Blue Post).

The additional note of this blue post is actually an update to the formula for calculating arena points. Blizzard indicates that all players can see an increase in Arena Points, but it is not known whether it will be for the last week or for the entire S3 season. This has to be seen after the settlement of this week's arena, the official blue post of the national service is the end of the S3 season on May 4, players who want to mix points, please step up!
