Android 13's first beta beta 1 released! The interface is completely new

Just before this year's I/O conference, Google today announced that the first public beta of Android 13 is now available. Google will hold its annual developer conference next month, when the company expects to fully detail the update to Android 13, and the official version of the new system will be available later this year. The main new features in the Android 13 Beta Beta Beta are features that were already in the first two developer previews of Android 13, including support for Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) audio, a new photo picker — which limits which photos apps can access, a new app icon theme option, and a new permission — to reduce notification spam.

Taking privacy permissions as an example, on Android 13, when the three-party application accesses three media files such as photos, videos or music, the user must confirm that the corresponding types of permissions are enabled. In addition, Google claims that optimizing and adapting large-screen devices, tablets and folding screens is one of the most priority work contents of Android 13, and we will further analyze it for you after getting started in the future.

According to the schedule, Android 13 Beta 2 will be pushed in May, which is expected to be during the I/O conference, when it is expected that in addition to the Pixel, Xiaomi, OV and other third-party models will also participate. The official version will arrive sometime after July, obviously as soon as August and as late as September/October.

Currently, Android 13 Beta 1 supports Pixel 4~Pixel 6 devices, which can be upgraded by signing up for the Beta program or downloading an OTA package or a full image.
