Covering an area of 340,000 square kilometers, or 43.6% of the total land area, the province is rich in oil, gas and mineral resources, and is the largest but least developed province in Pakistan.
Balochistan has a population of about 7 million, accounting for 5% of the country's total population, making it the least populous province with a predominantly Baloch population. During the War in Afghanistan in the 1980s, there were many organizations and groups in Pakistan that supported the Afghan Resistance Army, and many Afghan resisters were also active in Pakistan. In addition to the Soviet Union and the United States, the Balochistan Liberation Army is also fighting with India, as we all know, the India-Pakistan conflict is one of the most difficult contradictions in the world today, just as the so-called "enemy of the enemy is its own ally", since the Balochistan Liberation Army is a rebel force in Pakistan that has been engraved in the back of the head for a long time, the Indian security services and intelligence bureaus that find ways to make enemies of Pakistan are naturally very fond of it, and have long secretly communicated with them, providing them with funds and equipment, and even training terrorists. They were also instructed to organize and plan anti-Government terrorist attacks in Pakistan. All along, Pakistan has accused the "Balochistan Liberation Army" of being supported by India, and the Indian side has not listed the organization as a terrorist organization.
