Hu Houkun further said: "Last year, our strategy was initially effective, on the one hand, wearable devices and tablets have a good growth; on the other hand, the software ecology has also developed well. He believes that the current innovation environment is facing some new changes. "From the perspective of industry, Shannon's theorem and von Neumann architecture have encountered great bottlenecks, and it is urgent to explore new theories and new architectures, and Huawei has also encountered difficulties in leading single-point technology in the case of difficulties in obtaining advanced devices." At the meeting, Hu Houkun listed Huawei's innovation direction in several industries. In the field of connectivity, in industrial scenarios, industrial control has very high requirements for real-time and reliability; in the home scenario, people hope to achieve ultra-high-definition video, VR, AR and even holographic remote communication, in this regard, Huawei defined the 5.5G and F5.5G industry vision, proposing to achieve 10Gbps everywhere in the future.
In the computing field, Huawei redefines nodes, basic software, and data center-level system architecture. In addition, by building a digital content production line on the cloud and building a full-scenario intelligent experience with people as the center, the integration of the physical world and the digital world is accelerated.
In the view of Zhou Hong, president of Huawei's Strategic Research Institute, the 21st century will be an era in which human society will move towards intelligence in an all-round way. "At the heart of intelligence is perception, connection, and computation, and the resulting higher cognition and control of matter and phenomena, life, energy, and so on. So, how can we create a viable development route? Zhou Hong put forward 4 scientific hypotheses for the future.
