As the last tournament before the Toyo Cup, the Badminton Asian Championships will be held this year at the Montelupa Sports Center in Manila, Philippines, from April 26 to May 1. Starting this year, the Asian Championship will be upgraded from super 500 to super 1000, and the points of the winners will be increased by 12,000 points, which is the same level as the Super 1000 level events such as the All England Open, the Indonesia Open and the China Open.
