In October 2018, Leicester City boss Vichai left in a helicopter after watching the match at home.

Unfortunately, the helicopter crashed outside the King Power Stadium after takeoff. Club owner Vichai died in the accident. Four other personnel on the same plane were also killed.

Three weeks ago, Leicester City Club erected a statue and held an unveiling ceremony for the late owner Vichai near the Crown Power Stadium.

At the time, Roma boss Jose Mourinho recorded a video paying tribute to Vichai. The official media account of the Club of Roma published the video, expressing condolences to Leicester City and writing: "This is an important commemorative moment before an important match between our two clubs.
