For example, a number of platforms interviewed by the Beijing Business Daily reporter introduced that recently many consumers have been induced by fraudsters to take loans on major financial platforms, and then transfer loans to the designated accounts of fraudsters, fraudsters not only defraud the victims of their own assets in this way, but also arbitrage the loan amounts of the victims on major financial platforms to maximize the income from fraud.

According to a number of platforms, the current high incidence of fraud is mainly counterfeit financial App fraud, fraudsters through text messages, advertising to publish fake company App links, and then induce users to download and register to provide personal information, and use bank card information errors as a reason to induce users to contact fake customer service, fraud on users.

In addition, the Beijing Business Daily reporter found through interviews that the most typical fraud at present includes the cancellation of "campus loan" scams, impersonation of public prosecutors law fraud, pig killing (false investment and financial management), false online loan fraud, interest rate adjustment scams, single fraud and other forms.

It is worth vigilance that at present, fraudsters are also constantly renovating their means, for example, in terms of identity, there have been many cases of impersonating government workers such as the Medical Insurance Bureau, the Health Commission, and the Central Bank in recent years; in addition, in terms of reasons, fraudsters will also rub on current affairs hot information, such as epidemic prevention and control, meta-universe investment, credit repair, etc.

Taking the new scam of "epidemic fraud" as an example, the scammers impersonate the platform staff, on the grounds that they are affected by the epidemic and the platform operation difficulties, to deceive the victims to pay the rising interest rate fees; in addition, there are scammers pretending to be epidemic prevention personnel, under the pretext of using the name of the flow of the tune, weaving the victims suspected of "spreading false information about the epidemic" and other crimes, after being denied by the other party, they will claim that the other party's personal information has been leaked, induce the victims to call the police, and transfer the phone to the fake police, who will request a transfer to the so-called "" on the grounds that the victim's funds are abnormal and cooperate with the investigation. "In general, this type of scam is to gain the trust of users by pretending to be our name, and then create various situations for users to provide bank password information or directly make users pay various fees." A practitioner of Rong360 also said that many fraudsters use the company's electronic signature to deceive users' trust when sending fraudulent information, and users only find the platform after finding that they have been deceived, and it is difficult to track these fraudsters.

The relevant person in charge of Xinye Technology mentioned that compared with other scams, the current single fraud is more popular, and the scammers will make a fake App of the same name in the name of well-known merchants to deceive and increase credibility; when it comes to the biggest difficulty of anti-fraud, the person bluntly said that there are indeed users who have been brainwashed too deeply and have no doubt about the scammers.

It should be noted that at present, fraudsters have a clear population division, among which the elderly have also become their key "hunting" targets.

"Once the fraud path is not discovered in time and is quickly copied, it will bring huge risks to the subsequent operation and risk control of the corresponding institutions." Jin Tian, a senior researcher at the Digital Economy Research Institute of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, told Beijing Business Daily that from the perspective of anti-fraud, institutions need to identify potential fraudsters more accurately and effectively, and then do a good job in the whole process of control before, during and after fraud.

The good news is that in response to a variety of fraudulent means, various financial technology companies are also stepping up to upgrade their "weapons" and comprehensively contain prevention and control.

For example, at the level of prior prevention and control, the relevant person in charge of meituan introduced that the risk control model is the outpost of the meituan anti-fraud firewall, when the model judges that the user's operation behavior is abnormal, it will immediately identify whether the user has a potential risk of being deceived, which triggers the manual anti-fraud customer service to intervene and dissuade. "As of 2022, our company has successfully intercepted nearly 8,000 defrauded users, intercepted 125 million yuan, and identified 115,000 suspected money launderers." Du Xiaoman also showed the latest anti-fraud "report card" to the Beijing Business Daily reporter.

However, Pan Helin, co-director and researcher of the Digital Economy and Financial Innovation Research Center of Zhejiang University's International United Business School, said that financial anti-fraud requires an information connectivity mechanism, and it is difficult to find fraud in advance by relying on financial platforms to track the trajectory of transfers, so it is necessary to have a leading department to find these fraudsters through the tracking of funds. In his view, cracking a fraud case requires information from the telecommunications sector, information from financial payment institutions, and joint law enforcement by the local police, and it is difficult to achieve efficient governance if there is no leading department to coordinate the relationship between various departments.

The industry agrees that anti-fraud governance needs to link ecological forces, especially for the issue of personal privacy data leakage, which needs to be jointly managed by all parties.

At the level of publicity and education, Samoyed Cloud said that it is comprehensively monitoring public opinion, issuing anti-fraud announcements, and improving user reach; combined with the latest fraud cases, it continues to output some anti-fraud propaganda content in the form of comics, videos and other forms that users prefer; Rong360 also said that it is strengthening cooperation with the National Anti-Fraud Center and other institutions, through short videos, new media and other ways to carry out financial consumer education and protection, while insisting on implementing anti-fraud reminders in business processes.

For the elderly population, the relevant person in charge of Ant Group further said that it is more necessary to do more detailed and targeted anti-deception education in advance, break the case apart and crush the interpretation, and even refine the keywords to a sentence of the scammer, which needs to be carried out through multiple forms such as case videos and scene interpretations.
