On Friday, local time, the official account of Infinity Ward, the developer of "Call of Duty Modern Warfare", changed the avatar and background image. Curiously, the replaced avatar and background image look pitch black, and the official seems to be hiding some information.
In this regard, the foreign media IGN highlighted the background image and found the image of the suspected "ghost" Simon Riley. Simon Riley made his debut in 2009's Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and is one of the most popular characters in the Call of Duty series. Infinity Ward's move may be a hint that a new Call of Duty Modern Warfare game is coming soon.

In February of this year, Activision confirmed in a community update that the call of duty modern warfare sequel will be launched in 2022. The game will contain new campaigns and a new version of "Warzone". According to the VGC, the plot of the new game will include a war between U.S. special forces and Colombian drug cartels.
