With the growing demand for high-quality screens in smartphones, laptops, TVs and even smart cars around the world, its market size continues to rise. At present, the technical strength of domestic OLED manufacturers continues to upgrade, taking BOE as an example, its market share has been further improved, especially the OLED delivery volume has risen by 70%, and apple has also obtained a large order of 30 million OLED screens.

It is reported that BOE's two production lines in Chengdu and Mianyang, Sichuan, are expected to run at full capacity this year, and the third production line in Chongqing is also in full mass production, which will enable JD.com's OLED production to grow from 60 million units in 2021 to 100 million units this year.
In addition, BOE's Chongqing production line is testing panel quality from top smartphone and tablet makers, and BOE is also considering building a new OLED factory in Chengdu, which is scheduled to start production by the end of 2024. These are also guarantees for a 70% increase in OLED deliveries.
Advanced technology requires the approval of demanding manufacturers. It is reported that BOE will supply Apple with 30 million OLED screens this year, compared with last year's supply of 15 million pieces, showing a doubling growth trend. At the same time, the OLED screen provided by BOE will not only be supplied to the new iPad and MacBook Air, but also the new iPhone series involved.
According to Omdia, Samsung Displays' OLED market share will fall to 65% in 2022, while BOE's market share will exceed 10% for the first time.
With the continuous development of domestic screen manufacturers from technology to the market, in addition to BOE, OLED screens produced by TCL Huaxing Optoelectronics, Visionox and other manufacturers have also achieved a certain market share. I believe that after a period of tempering, it will break the monopoly of OLED screens by Korean manufacturers, so let us wait and see.
