However, compared with the above-mentioned cases of beer doing wrong, a "beer case" in England in 1814 was really beer that pushed people to the "climax".

Big bang, beer waves swept through small British towns
On October 17, 1814, as usual, the streets were full of passers-by, shops were open normally, and the shouts of the roadside rose and fell, day after day, year after year, and the town did not change a bit.
The accident happened on such an ordinary day, and on the afternoon of the same day, a loud noise resounded throughout the town.
The source of the sound was the horseshoe distillery at the end of the street, and after the sound passed, there was no smoke, no fire, not even a continuous explosion, and the smell of beer filled the air.
Immediately after that, the beer came like an ocean wave, wave after wave, and the huge beer foam swept across the street, catching everyone off guard.
In the torrent of beer, the pedestrians on the road were wrapped up and rushed into another neighborhood, and the usually drunk gamblers also felt deeply frightened at this moment, not knowing where to hide.
The beer bubble even took away innocent lives, a mother and son were knocked over by the beer waves and lost their lives, and the lives of nameless homeless people hiding in the cellar were also taken away by the flood.
Even so, the rushing beer flood did not stop expanding, it has been spreading, fortunately, rescuers arrived very quickly, rescuing those killed in the disaster.
The beer flood washed away two houses, and even seven people soaked in alcohol and died, the town's beer could not be drained as quickly as possible because of the failure of London's drainage system, and the beer with water levels up to the waist had been soaking several affected neighborhoods.
After the disaster, the town still has a strong smell of beer a few months after the accident.
After the accident, the local citizens expressed their dissatisfaction with the above court and took the brewery to court, however, after ruling, the court ended the case on the grounds that the incident was a "natural disaster".
So why don't breweries need to take responsibility, and how did the beer explode?
The cause of the beer explosion was revealed, and the distillery failed and closed down
As a well-known brewery in the region, horseshoe distilleries have always had a brewery dedicated to storing brewed beer.
However, the brewery's beer sales are so good, with an annual output of up to 100,000 tons, so many beers that the distillery has to buy a batch of giant beer storage barrels to put in the wine warehouse.
These huge beer barrels are seven meters high, and the largest barrel can hold more than 600,000 liters of beer, and in order not to be destroyed, the distillery has also wrapped iron hoops around the barrels for reinforcement.
Although reinforced, the wooden barrels could not withstand such a heavy amount of beer, and the brewery managers at the time were not careful about it.
The last straw that crushed the camel was the time of the disaster when a worker poured beer into the barrel as usual.
On that day, the worker who poured the wine had noticed that a screw on the barrel had loosened and fallen off during the process of pouring the wine, but he did not care to continue pouring the wine.
For him, it was the norm every day, a small barrel of beer, not surprising for such a huge storage barrel.
However, just an hour later, the storage barrels were overwhelmed and cracked, one storage barrel ruptured, and the wine washed away the other, like a domino effect, one after another, and the vast amount of beer flooded the streets of the town.
After the end of the beer flood, all the major breweries in the United Kingdom changed the storage barrels, removed the previous wooden reinforcement, and replaced it with cement pouring, which avoided the occurrence of the catastrophe to a certain extent.
But because of this accident, coupled with the court's ruling, the beer industry has been affected to a certain extent.
The crowd was not satisfied with the court's decision, and although they no longer verbally discussed its unfairness, they continued their dissatisfaction in practice, and they spontaneously refused to buy beer produced by horseshoe distilleries.
After barely maintaining its business for more than a hundred years, the brewery declared bankruptcy in 1921, a tragic event that has been passed down from generation to generation as a warning to the world.
