At the 2022 Changan Automobile Global Partner Conference held earlier, Changan Automobile announced a series of long-term goals. At the same time, it also released its own new digital pure electric brand - Changan Deep Blue. Five years of grinding into the EPA1 platform
Changan Automobile began in 2017, which lasted five years of research and development, and the EPA1 platform was officially launched. This is a dedicated platform for all-track pure electric drive that combines future travel prospects and today's car experience, with four high attributes.
The first high efficiency refers to the ultimate powertrain driving electrical efficiency. Among them is Changan's "micro-core high-frequency pulse heating", which is the first technology in the world, which is mainly to improve the difficulty of using trams in winter. In the environment of -30 °C, the low temperature dynamics are increased by 50%, and the low temperature charging time is shortened by 15%, which greatly alleviates the experience of electric vehicles in extremely cold weather.
The second high performance refers to the ultimate performance platform that is later driven into the gene and takes into account the four-wheel drive. These include rear-wheel drive + four-wheel drive expansion, compatible with extended range/hydrogen fuel cells, which brings owners a single motor 190kW/100km/100 km/h acceleration of 5.9s. In addition, Changan Automobile designed a counterweight structure with a balanced front and rear axles based on the H-arm multi-link architecture, achieving a 50:50 front and rear gold shaft-to-load ratio, thereby enhancing the excellent handling performance of the EPA1 platform.
The third highest intelligence refers to the three domain control architectures and support for SOA service expansion. Among them, it includes the first intelligent vehicle domain controller "Changan Smart Core" in China. The controller creates several industry firsts: the first deeply integrated seven-in-one low-voltage domain controller, the first on-board 24-megabit high-speed synchronous communication, off-board Gigabit Ethernet communication, domain controllers that support both OSEK and AUTOSAR network management, and more.
The fourth highest security refers to the 3-layer security architecture of the core car cloud and the 360-degree security guarantee. This includes the iBC Digital Battery Manager, which will effectively avoid battery thermal runaway and protect people and property in all aspects.
China's first mass-produced hydrogen fuel cell sedan, the C385, is speeding up
It is worth noting that at this exchange meeting, Changan introduced many highlights of the first strategic model C385.
First of all, from the appearance point of view, Changan Deep Blue C385 adopts a minimalist style design, creating a sense of technology and digitality that belongs to the future through the outline of the line. The front face of the body blends in with the hood, and the large sporty front shovel lowers the visual center of gravity, combining aesthetics with performance. The side lines are sharp and decisive, and the design of hidden door handles and frameless doors brings better unity. It is also equipped with the largest 19-inch wheels in its class and is equipped with an electric hatchback door, which combines convenience with a sense of premium.
On the basis of this design, through the overall optimization of the overall aerodynamics of the body and the blessing of the closed aerodynamic wheels and other configurations, the wind resistance coefficient of the Changan Deep Blue C385 is as low as 0.23Cd, which can compete with the Model 3. In addition, the entire series uses rear-wheel drive, equipped with a rear H-arm type multi-link independent suspension system, which is full of sportsmanship.
From the perspective of space size, the length, width and height of Changan Navy CS85 reached 4820mm/1890mm/1480mm, the wheelbase was 2900mm, the aspect ratio was 0.78, and the shaft length ratio was 0.6. Larger than the Model 3, the wheelbase has exceeded the standard of B-class cars, and has almost reached the level of C-class cars.
Of course, the most noteworthy is naturally the power system. Changan Deep Blue CS85 will provide three power models, namely pure electric version, extended range version, and hydrogen fuel cell version.
Under CLTC conditions, the C385 pure electric version of the comprehensive working range can reach more than 700 kilometers, the maximum power can reach more than 190 kilowatts, and the power consumption is as low as 12.3 kWh / 100 km or less. The mileage of the extended range full oil and full power comprehensive working conditions can reach more than 1200 kilometers, the cruising range of simple electric comprehensive working conditions can reach more than 200 kilometers, and the fuel consumption of feeders is as low as 4.5L/100km or less. The comprehensive working range of the hydrogen version can reach more than 700 kilometers, and the hydrogen consumption of the feeder is as low as 0.65 kg/100km or less, which can achieve 3 minutes of ultra-fast energy replenishment.
Judging from the information currently disclosed, Changan is indeed ready for the era of full electrification.
