From 1975 to 1990, Zhang Shizhen often traveled to Beijing for business due to the needs of his work, where he entered the ocean like a fish, "stuck" into Beijing's old bookstores, and sometimes stayed all day. "The cultural atmosphere in Beijing is very strong, which touched me a lot, and I also seized this time to 'soak' in books every day." Zhang Shizhen said that in those years, he read with hunger and thirst, and felt that his spiritual world was becoming more and more abundant.

Zhang Shizhen said that the books he read when he was young were mainly related to his own work and business. Xiao Qingxiang, 58, is a practitioner in the construction industry and the champion of the municipal library's 2021 annual statistics on the number of books borrowed. In one year, he borrowed a total of 289 books, and was a veritable "reading master".
"I have loved reading since I was a child, and I still remember that when I read a popular science book about giant pandas and learned some knowledge about giant pandas, I was very surprised at the time, and I felt the power of reading through the book instinct." Xiao Qingxiang said that his family was also very supportive of reading books at that time, and good reading habits were formed.
