In mid-spring, in a flower greenhouse in the village of Chamalbagh in Isihara Town, cherries, roses, grapes, moons and other flowers and seedlings are growing well, and workers are adjusting the temperature in the flower greenhouse and watering the flower seedlings.
In recent years, under the guidance of party building, Isihara Town has called on capable people to return to their hometowns to start businesses, vigorously develop the flower industry through land circulation and villagers' shareholding, form a flower industry cluster with advantageous characteristics, and drive villagers to increase employment and income.
As one of the returning college students, Buhanli and Mu Jilili made full use of the agricultural-related technical knowledge they learned at Xinjiang Agricultural University to establish the Kucha Fujiang Forest and Fruit Industry Professional Cooperative in July 2021. After the establishment of the cooperative, it distributed seedlings to villagers, trained planting techniques, and unified sales, which promoted the transformation and upgrading of the local flower industry, broadened the channels for farmers to increase their income and become rich, and effectively promoted the employment of local people.
Buhanli and Mu Jilili said: "We grow a wide variety of varieties, not only flowers but also fruits. The Sunshine Rose grape variety began cultivating in January this year and is now in seedlings with a total of 100,000 seeds. ”
At present, there are 10 varieties of flowers and 15 varieties of seedlings in the park. Among them, there are six varieties of peaches and six varieties of grapes, with a planting area of more than three acres, and are expected to be listed in July this year.
At the same time, Buhanli and Mu Jili exert their professional knowledge, pay great attention to the technical application of planting in the shed, scientific drip irrigation, precise fertilization, timely regulation of flowering period, to create favorable conditions for flower planting, so that the rate of flower diseases and insect pests in the garden is reduced, the survival rate is high, and the supply of flowers is effectively guaranteed.
"I started working at the cooperative in February, and I currently have a monthly salary of 1,800 yuan, which is not far from my home, and my life is very convenient and has increased my income." Busseram Amy, a villager who is watering the greenhouse for the monthly season, said so.
Since its establishment, the cooperative has effectively used idle rural land, actively cultivated new varieties of flowers, and driven the employment of more than 60 rural surplus laborers, laying a good foundation for villagers to increase their income and become rich and rural industries to revitalize.
