As we all know, Huawei's mobile phones, tablets, notebooks, wearable devices, etc. are all part of the consumer business, and Yu Chengdong is responsible for the CEO. With the round after round of "suppression" in the past two years, Huawei's consumer business has encountered very big challenges, in order to change this situation, Huawei decided to transform and change its development strategy.

On the evening of April 20, Huawei officially announced that the "consumer business" was renamed "terminal business", relying on the two ecosystems of hardware and software, and continuously enriched commercial mobile phones, smart options, notebooks, desktops, monitors, tablets, smart screens, wearables, and other categories. The name change is significant, indicating that Huawei no longer relies solely on consumer business to maintain terminals, but also opens up more product lines in the field of commerce.
Yu Chengdong, former CEO of Huawei's consumer business, was reappointed as CEO of the terminal business, and also served as the managing director of Huawei and the CEO of the smart car solution BU. Yu Chengdong said: The name of Huawei's consumer business has gone through a decade, and today we have changed our name to Huawei Terminal Business to fully enter the commercial market. In the future, Huawei will launch products for the energy industry, manufacturing industry, transportation industry, financial industry, medical industry, education industry, etc., and create a better experience for customers based on the three DNA of quality, wisdom, and reliability of Huawei terminals.
At the conference, Huawei brought a total of 7 series of commercial products, including notebook Mate Book B series, desktop Mate Station B series, display B series, tablet C series, printer B series, smart screen B series, wearable device B series. Among them, Huawei's smart screen B series has a total of B3, B5, and B7 mainly for educational institutions, hotels and other scenarios, giving users a wealth of custom screens and systems, replacing traditional display large-screen devices.
Taking Huawei's smart screen B3 as an example, there are two versions of 55 inches and 65 inches, with a screen ratio of about 97%, support 4K resolution, and 60Hz refresh rate. This device supports user-defined boot screen, custom channel management, etc., the moment the screen is opened, it can be used as an advertising screen, which is very suitable for hotel lobby use, or customize a separate default channel for each room, and directly display the content after opening to establish a brand image and customize for different scenarios.
Huawei's smart screen B5 series and B7 series upgrade the 120Hz refresh rate, the function is exactly the same as the smart screen B3 series, adding a magnetic external camera, convenient to use DingTalk, Tencent conference and other software office. Usually the camera can be taken off to protect security and privacy in a physical form, which is more secure than the traditional camera, which is also a specially customized function for high-end business users by Huawei.
In a sense, Huawei terminals began to lay out more areas, from the previous mainly for ordinary consumers to a comprehensive warrior, to take a less appropriate example, the current business has a high degree of overlap with Lenovo. I believe that in the future, as the area of Huawei's terminal business grows larger and larger, it will certainly bring more people a bright product launch, and also provide more people with the convenience of life and work!
