The latest Minecraft update brings many surprises to Bedrock Edition players, including the highly anticipated "Spectator Mode.")

Starting with version 1.18.30, Spectator Mode will be available to players as a very early Minecraft Bedrock Edition feature. Similar to the "noclip" mode in other games, this feature will allow players to fly and explore the map freely without affecting or interacting with the game world in any way. Users of Minecraft Java Edition have been able to use this mode since 2014, but neither the console nor the mobile version has yet to carry the feature.
However, developer Mojang says that this particular version of the "spectator mode" is not yet a complete version. Players are officially reminded that the mode is still under development and is not particularly reliable. With that in mind, Minecraft Bedrock Edition plans to launch the mode after the upcoming 1.19 Wild update, though the update won't be released until later this year.
Other additional features players can test include an updated "Create New World" experience, worlds with 64-bit torrents, Dark Domain updates and Wardens, and various bug fixes and improvements.
