"Lin Xia Feng Ya - Special Exhibition of Calligraphy and Paintings of Past Dynasties in the Collection of the Palace Museum (Phase II)" was exhibited at the Wenhua Hall of the Palace Museum from September 1 to October 31, 2021.
"Lin Xia Feng Ya" refers to the Yi people who refuse to enter the shi, avoid the world and hide from the world, or retire to the eunuch sea, and live in the forest spring and their anecdotes and elegance. Usually, works depicting such subjects are classified in the history of painting as character story paintings, also collectively referred to as "Coats Figures".
