The Astana Tombs are located in Turpan, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, in northern China, which is a public cemetery for the residents of Gaochang City from the Western Jin Dynasty to the Tang Dynasty, most of whom are mainly Han Chinese, and also bury ethnic minority residents such as Cheshi, Tuque, Xiongnu, and Gaoche. Although the main ethnic group of the Gaochang Kingdom at that time was Han, from the perspective of the form of its tomb, the various ethnic groups should have established an equal relationship. As a secluded place for the residents of gaochang's ancient city to seek happiness after death, the cemetery is located in the Gobi sand dunes of more than ten kilometers, which may have been an oasis in the past, but now it is a dense group of tombs. Among these ancient tombs are high-ranking officials and nobles, mighty generals, ordinary people, and ordinary soldiers, so this place is simply a "miracle place" in class society. Astana tomb group is known by today's scholars as Gaochang's "historical living archives", in 1988, the State Council listed the Astana tomb group as a national key cultural relics protection object, today to introduce to you this "Fuxi Nuwa Tu Silk Painting" is naturally excavated from it, the history is quite large. In this Fuxi Nuwa tu tu, Fu Xi is on the right, Fu Xi's assistant is attached to the right hand according to Nu Wa, both of them are human heads and snakes, the tails of the snake are intertwined, there will be a day and tail painted on the head of the head, all around the star city, the whole composition form is very peculiar and profound, very artistic charm and mysterious color. This kind of image is found in ancient tombs in the Turpan area, generally from the joint tomb of husband and wife, which will be nailed to the top of the tomb with wooden nails, while a few people will fold it on the canvas and place it next to the deceased. What is particularly surprising is that there is a huge meteor on the left side of the picture, which is unique in the ancient tomb paintings on the mainland, as to why there is a meteor, it should be that the painter accidentally saw a fire meteor while drawing, perhaps thinking that this was some hint of heaven, so the meteor was painted in the image.
