The river tower has been ancient, and the river has been flowing for thousands of years.
The Wangjiang Tower on the west bank of the Jinjiang River in the southeast of Chengdu was built in honor of the female poet Xue Tao of the Tang Dynasty during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty. In ancient times, WangjiangLou was the only way to enter and exit Chengdu, Jianglou sent guests, and Jinjiang boated. So in the memory of countless people, Wangjiang Lou is Chengdu, Chengdu is Wangjiang Lou, Wangjiang Lou is engraved in history with a warm humanistic memory. Today, Wangjiang Tower has become one of the landmarks of Chengdu's historical and cultural city.

As one of the nine famous buildings in the mainland, Wangjiang Tower is actually just a popular name, and its original name was "Chongli Pavilion". Chongli Pavilion was built in the fifteenth year of Qing Guangxu (1889), all-wood structure, 27.9 meters high, the shape is known for its majesty and magnificence, the building is divided into four floors, the lower two floors are square, the upper two floors are octagonal, the layers are divided, straight into the clouds, decorated with the essence of many temples and pavilions in western Shu, ingeniously conceived and unique in shape. The name of the cabinet is taken from the Jin Dynasty literary scholar Zuo Si's "Shu Du Fu" sentence "both beautiful and revered, the real name is Chengdu". According to historical records, the predecessor of Chongli Pavilion was the Huilan Pagoda built by Yu Yilong in the twenty-first year of the Ming Wanli Calendar (1593), and after the destruction of the war in the seventeenth year of Ming Chongzhen (1644), the Shu Chinese wind has not been strong, so this building was built to invigorate the literary style. In the first imperial examination after Lou Cheng, Sichuan produced 12 jinshi, and then the first yuan in Sichuan in the Qing Dynasty, Luo Chengjun. Therefore, WangjiangLou has become a prosperous place for the cultural fortunes of Shu middle school students, and the people who visit the shrine are endless, in order to achieve academic success and a bright future.

Chongli Pavilion is not only gorgeous in shape but also has many famous associations, and the famous buildings in the world must be commensurate with the famous associations, which is true. Most of the poems in Chongli Pavilion miss Xue Tao, in addition to many people who have lamented the thousands of rivers and mountains in Shu and the ancients. Among them, the long league written by Zhong Yunfang is the sixth long league in the country, with a total length of 212 words, which is magnificent and heroic.

Wangjiang Lou and Xue Tao, a talented woman of the Tang Dynasty, formed an inexplicable fate, and scenic spots related to Xue Tao can be seen everywhere. Xue Taojing, formerly known as Yunujin, is located south of Chongli Pavilion.
Xue Tao is fond of poetry and the equally talented poet Yuan Shu. The Mao Jin Lou was built by posterity to commemorate Xue Tao's farewell to Yuan Shu on the Jinjiang River. Maojin Tower is parallel to the Jinjiang River and resembles a ship ship. The name of the building originates from the Jinjiang River, because the brocade weavers in Chengdu in the Han Dynasty often smelt in the river, so it is named Jinjiang.

Xue Tao loved bamboo all his life, and often used the virtue of bamboo to motivate himself with the virtue of "cang cang vigorous and strange, humble and self-sustaining", so posterity collected all kinds of famous bamboo in the world and planted it in the garden. Today's Wangjianglou Park has become the largest bamboo park with the largest variety of bamboo in the country, and is also known as "Jincheng Bamboo Garden" or "Bamboo Park".
At present, there are 30 genera and 270 varieties of 4296 bushes of bamboo in Wangjianglou Park, including many valuable bamboo species. The park's green bamboo is slender and slender, with thousands of postures, each with its own interest, such as powder bamboo, human face bamboo, Buddha belly bamboo, chicken claw bamboo, etc., each posture and harmonious coexistence, or hugging each other into a bush, or intertwined into a corridor, walking into the garden, you can see the hedge forest, cui yun breeze.

Not only that, the "Bamboo Culture Exhibition Hall" in Wangjianglou Park shows that skilled craftsmen use various techniques to produce bamboo crafts with different forms, which can be described as a collection of fine products. The bamboo relief sculpture "Old Chengdu", carved from thick bamboo boards, can be called the "Qingming River Map" in bamboo carving; bamboo root carvings such as "Long-haired Arhat" are conceived by "giving shape with class"; bamboo crafts such as "Baishou Tu" are even more evocative. Bamboo craft birdcage is the "treasure of the town hall" of the exhibition hall, using century-old spotted bamboo carving, bas-relief, deep relief, circular carving, through-carving and other crafts carved characters, floral patterns, can be called magic.
