The B Company confirmed the transfer of multiple games to the Steam schedule

Bethesda's own game launcher will officially say goodbye to players after six years of service, and Bethesda is now migrating all of its games to Steam. Launcher Shutdown was made public in a blog post as early as February of this year, and B thanked fans for their continued support over the years and assured them that the currency that recharged the game was safe.

The process of migrating Bethesda games to Steam requires a coordinated effort by users, and Bethesda has promised to provide its customers with a detailed guide on April 27, when the migration process will officially begin. This migration will include game libraries and wallets, ensuring that nothing is lost during the migration process. The only game that is not affected by this change is The Elder Scrolls OL, which will still retain its own standalone launcher.

Users will have the opportunity to transfer their library and wallet to Steam from April 27 until May 11, when Bethesda Game Launcher officially closes. A post on the B's official website states that from May 11, players will no longer be able to launch their games in the Bethesda launcher. Despite deactivating the service, players will still retain their Bethesda.net account, as many B-Club games rely on it to provide services such as mods, in-game items, and exclusive updates.

One thing to note is that although the Bethesda Game Launcher is deactivated, players do not lose ownership of their games and are able to complete the migration process at any time from April 27. Their inventory will remain the same on the Bethesda.net, it's just not possible to launch them through the launcher.

Regarding saved games and individual game progress, B assures its customers that it will also provide detailed instructions on how to transfer all games to Steam, some of which are able to be completed automatically. The exception to the automatic transfer is Return to Wehrmacht Headquarters: New Bloodline, while the rest of the games are able to automatically transfer the player's game progress.

As for real-time online games such as Fallout 76, Bethesda explained that it still requires logging in and connecting to a player's Bethesda.net account, and will offer rewards for those who move to Steam early. In addition, in the unlikely event that a player accidentally links the wrong Steam account to their Bethesda inventory, the player can unlink multiple times. If the player realizes it's too late and the account has been migrated, they'll need to provide a ticket to customer service to resolve the issue.
