Publisher 11Bit and developer State of Play Games have announced that the narrative adventure game South of the Polar Circle will land on PC (Steam/GOG), PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Switch. Previously, the game was released on October 30, 2020, landing on Apple Arcade.
At present, "South of the Polar Circle" has been listed on Steam, supporting Chinese Simplified.

South of the Polar Circle is a moving narrative game that explores the emotional relationship between two Cambridge scholars embroiled in cold-war political conflict with Clara. Experience the heaviness of life's choices in the story: careers, true love, and the choice to keep promises.
"South of the Polar Circle" will tell a touching story with a multi-layered cinematic narrative experience. The main plot of "South of the Polar Circle" will intersperse back and forth between the past and the present, constantly throwing out thought-provoking questions: the consequences of life choices and the choice between true love and career. Players will play as the Cambridge scholar Phi De, who suffered a plane crash in Antarctica during the Cold War. On the way to seeking help, he will recall his past and think about how the coercion of power and personal ambitions have brought him step by step into this predicament that must be escaped. As love between PhiDe and his colleague Clara develops, he becomes aware of the weight of the promise he made. Like childhood memories, inadvertent promises will accompany us throughout our lives.
