The wireless communication patent filed by Apple states that "accessories can support the use of magnetic fields for authentication or the transmission of data with mobile devices." From this perspective, Apple may be considering implementing data transmission and reception in the next generation of MagSafe. There have been rumors that Apple will cancel external wired connection terminals in the future and make data communication wireless on mobile phones, but it has not yet been achieved. In another apple patent mentioned, Apple will use a glass-ceramic cover as the new MagSafe material. The Apple logo on the back panel of the iPad Pro, which is equipped with the M2 chip, is expected to be made of glass ceramic, which supports charging via MagSafe.
