Apple MagSafe external battery firmware update, charging power upgraded from 5W to 7.5W

Apple yesterday updated a new firmware version for the MagSafe external battery, and the MagSafe external battery can provide the iPhone with a charging capacity of 7.5W, while the previous charging rate was limited to 5W. But the charging rate after the firmware update is only equivalent to the maximum charging rate of the iPhone Qi protocol, which is far less than the 15W MagSafe charging faster.

In the updated documentation, it is stated that in order to get a charging rate of 7.5W in use, update the MagSafe external battery to the latest firmware. After connecting the battery pack to the iPhone, the firmware update starts automatically. A firmware update may take about a week. You can also use your Mac or iPad to update the firmware, connect the device via a data cable, and the firmware update takes about 5 minutes.
