A few days ago, Mr. Hu Yuxiang, a retired teacher, called the editorial department of Baiwei Nianhua again, saying that in the past two years, he had written some articles and poems and wanted to publish the second part of the "Liuyun Anthology".
Teacher Hu spent four years in the Life of the Zhiqing Company in the Beitun Corps of Xinjiang, and later taught in schools in Xinjiang, Henan, Hebei and other places. In 2019, he commissioned the editorial department of Baiwei Nianhua to produce a personal collection of essays, "Liuyun Anthology", which included more than 100 works he made in different periods, including essays, argumentative essays, poems, etc., from which we can see the trajectory of Mr. Hu's life of running around and seeking truth. After the book was written, Mr. Hu gave the printed collection of hundreds of essays to his relatives, classmates, colleagues, friends, neighbors, etc. in person or by mail, and received different feedback. There are praises and corrections.
A friend wrote a collection of more than a thousand words praising Teacher Hu: "Your works are completely sincere and colorful, imagining between Tianjin and Xinjiang." You use all your love to dye your life with youthful colors..." Some friends also pointed out that Teacher Hu's prose lacks highlights and needs to be improved. Mr. Wang, a close neighbor, carefully read the book several times, made dense annotations, and had many detailed chats with Teacher Hu about some details and errors in the book, which made Teacher Hu very moved. Whether praised or corrected, Teacher Hu believes that it is a valuable opinion to promote his progress, so when writing the second part of the anthology, he included the opinions of friends and their gratitude to friends.
In addition to the additions to the first part of the anthology, many new elements have been added to the second part. For example, the poems commemorating the centenary of the founding of the party, such as "One Hundred Years of Vernacular", "Changes in The Family", "Song of the Wind", etc.; "Looking Back and Prospecting" commemorating the 55th anniversary of Tianjin Zhiqing's entry into Xinjiang; "Fighting the Epidemic" and "Rules" that record the fight against the epidemic; and "Winter Olympic Feelings" that closely follow current events, Teacher Hu called these the causes of the development of the times. If the first part is Teacher Hu's memories of most of his life, then the second part is a current record of keeping pace with the times, and shows that Teacher Hu's literary thinking is undiminished and his pen is diligent.
When sorting out the poetry manuscripts, we found that Mr. Hu began to create new works in April 2021, and the interval between the creation of each poem manuscript was only two or three days, and almost two or three times a week, and his love and persistence in writing were really admirable. Teacher Hu said: "Although I have new works, after all, they are full of personal limitations, and some of them have little poetry charm. And due to the advanced age, coupled with slow diseases, the brain and eyes are not powerful. For the accuracy of a word, for the smoothness of an article, the effort is difficult to estimate. All of this, dedicated to the reader, is really not self-sufficient. But my original intention in publishing the book was mainly due to habit, and I wanted my friends to understand what I had heard and felt in the past. Although there are not many highlights in the sequel, the attitude of seriously seeking correction has not decreased. Take this opportunity to masturbate, and I hope to encourage my friends. ”
At present, the second part of "Liuyun Anthology" has entered the planning and editing stage, and soon after, Teacher Hu's "Poetry and Distant Places" will once again jump on the paper, allowing friends to enjoy the spiritual feast again.
