In the past ten years, the editorial department has paid attention to the training and training of the text collection and editing team, requiring every editorial staff to be in awe of the "white paper and black characters" from the height of "articles that have been through the ages", and to make full efforts in tempering the text, starting from the various links such as writing, editing, and proofreading, so as to achieve rigorous concentration, careful word and sentence, perfection, and strive for perfection in each work.
The compilation of the Five Avenues Street Chronicle is one of the key projects undertaken by the Editorial Department of Baiwei Nianhua. The compilation of zhishu involves the development and changes of a region in many fields such as nature, geography, politics, economy, culture, and society, and the compilation of books requires more comprehensiveness, detail and standardization. In the process of project implementation, the project team in line with the principle of data collection to be knowledgeable, the selection of the principle of the essence of the intention, a wide range of relevant historical materials, books, government news, activity reports and other large and large graphic materials, and the "Five Avenues" area to visit the field, ran through every road, lane, large and small, recorded the characteristics of historical style and architecture and the current situation, understand the living conditions of the residents' community, on the basis of full research, concentrated on the compilation of the manuscript, and hired knowledgeable and experienced experts and scholars to give full guidance.

In order to ensure the quality of the manuscript, the project team strictly follows the basic principles and laws of xiuzhi, divides the book outline, and in the process of writing, clearly divides the work, conscientiously grasps all links, carefully chooses words and sentences, and uses concise, simple and fluent language to record the history of the "Five Avenues" area truthfully and accurately. At the same time, in order to ensure the grammar and sentence application standards of the zhishu, the team has repeatedly modified the manuscript, at present, the first draft of the Five Avenues Street Chronicle has been completed, and the project team will also modify and polish the manuscript on the basis of the first draft and supplement and improve it, so as to achieve excellence.
Compiling letters with historical research value into books is also one of the key projects engaged in by Baiwei Nianhua in recent years. In 2021, the project team signed a contract with the Tsinghua University Archives to complete the collation of more than 400 letters donated by Ms. Liu Nianling, a Chinese-American, to the Tsinghua University Archives. These letters are the correspondence exchanges between Ms. Liu Nianling and 68 Chinese friends at home and abroad in the 25 years from the late 1970s to the beginning of the 21st century, which fully expressed everyone's views and understandings on writing, publishing books and academic research work, and had certain historical research value.
In order to ensure the authenticity and accuracy of the historical materials, the project team closely followed the proofreading link, and checked word by word, word by word, sentence by sentence, and punctuation according to the content of the original letter, and did not miss every error. Since some authors were accustomed to using traditional characters when writing at that time, in order to facilitate readers' reading, the project team also made comparative annotations on traditional characters one by one, and at the same time corrected the omissions of the authors in the original letter and the misuse of supplementary interpretations, translated the English letters, interpreted and summarized the synopsis, and strived to present the content of the letters objectively, comprehensively, truthfully and clearly, so that readers could get thinking and enlightenment from them.

The compilation of the Five Avenue Street Chronicles and the collation of Ms. Liu Nianling's letters are just a microcosm of the deep cultivation of Baiwei Nianhua in recent years. Ten years of hard work, ten years of accumulation, Baiwei Nianhua in the practice of recording history and inheriting culture, pioneering and innovating, and training a team of craftsman spirit of text collection and editing.
