IT House April 14 news, according to 9to5Google reported that although Google Pay has barely grown, it may soon get a long-lost important update, turning it into a "comprehensive digital wallet".
Google appears to be testing a new wallet icon, suggesting that a new era of Google Pay is on the horizon, with the service shifting from a single payment option to a full digital wallet.
The new wallet icon clearly shows a series of colored cards inside the blue leather case, compared to the logo logo currently in use, indicating that its purpose is not just a payment solution, but also where separate bank cards are placed.
A recent Bloomberg report suggests that Google is looking to transform Google Pay into a "comprehensive digital wallet" that allows users to manage digital tickets, air passes and vaccine passports, as well as all of the usual banking, all from one app.
