Bound wolf Fenrir

Fenrir is the giant wolf of Norse mythology who brings twilight to the gods, he is the first child of loki, the god of tricks, and the female giant Angelboda, and he is the eldest brother of the giant serpent Yemengard and the god of death, Hela.

Legend has it that when Fenrir opens his mouth, the upper and lower jaws can stand up to the heavens and the earth, he and Odin are mortal enemies of each other, and the wolf Fenrir has two sons, Scull and Hatti, and legend has it that they chase the sun and the moon until they swallow it up.

As soon as the three Fenrir brothers were born, Odin predicted that the three monsters had a lot to do with the gods Twilight, and Odin threw the giant serpent Ye mengga into the sea, banishing Hela who was half human and half evil to the underworld, and only the giant wolf Fenrir was brought to heaven.

Fenrir grew up day by day, and his wild nature became heavier and heavier, and the gods, in fear, decided to bind Fenrir to avoid any accidents in the future.

The gods collaborated with the dwarves and made a chain with a curse (Greepnier) using: the footsteps of a cat, the beard of a woman, the roots of a stone, the breath of a fish, the tendons of a bear and the saliva of a bird.

Fenrir was very vigilant and refused to be bound, and the gods tried their best to deceive Fenrir and arouse the arrogance of the wolf, and after repeated persuasion and stimulation, Fenrir agreed to be bound, but asked a god to put his hand in the wolf's mouth to ensure the wolf's safety.

In the end, only Tyre, the god of war, who fed Fenrir regularly, stepped forward and put his hand into Fenrir's mouth, and when the gods bound the chains to the boulder, Fenrir was terrified and struggled with all his strength, but could not break free anyway.

The wolf Fenrir, with his eyes begging the gods to open the chains, the gods ignored it, and the desperate Fenrir bit off Tyre's wrist and opened his mouth to try to attack the gods, his open jaws touching the sky and the earth almost at the same time.

The gods took the opportunity to put a Sword of Excalibur into Fenrir's mouth, the tip of the sword pointed to the upper jaw, the hilt of the sword touched the jaw, and the wolf's blood basin mouth would be stinged once it tried to close, this sword was the most ever closed by the wolf Fenrir.

The mouth that could not be closed continued to drip saliva, forming a poisonous river of vines, and the demon wolf would remain bound until dusk of the gods.

The gods did not kill the wolf because they did not want to be defiled by the snow of the wolf, and when the gods came at dusk, Fenrir broke free of the chains, made enemies of the gods, and in the decisive battle with Odin, swallowed Odin in one bite, but the scarred wolf was then killed by Odin's son Vidal (the god of the forest).
